Support Customer Experience Engineer, L2 at HackerRank

Resolves complex customer technical issues, leads escalations, builds troubleshooting tools, and improves AI-enabled support workflows.

Mid Posted about 3 hours ago RemoteFirstJobs Product
What this role involves

HackerRank helps companies like NVIDIA, Amazon, and Microsoft hire and upskill the next generation of developers based on skills, not pedigree. Our platform is trusted by over 2,500 of the world’s most innovative companies to build strong engineering teams ready for what’s next.

Software has entered an era where humans and AI build side by side. As this shift accelerates, the definition of strong technical talent is changing. We give companies better ways to identify and invest in next-generation skills.

People at HackerRank care deeply about the impact of their work and sweat the small details so our customers can be wildly successful with products they genuinely love to use. We move with urgency and believe great outcomes come from high standards.

About the role

Customer Experience Engineering is where customers, product, and engineering meet. As a CXE 2, you’ll lead complex technical problems and high-stakes customer situations from investigation through resolution and prevention. You’ll combine technical depth with the judgment and communication needed to guide customers when the answer is not yet clear.

CXE works from one shared queue. You’ll take the lead on problems that require deeper investigation, solution design, or cross-team coordination, while helping the team respond to customer needs across the queue. You’ll also turn what you learn into solutions, tools, and AI-enabled workflows that reduce repeat problems.

What you’ll do

  • Own complex, ambiguous, enterprise, and escalated customer problems through investigation, resolution, communication, and closure.
  • Come prepared to lead technical customer calls and escalations. Understand the account and issue history, ask precise questions, explain what is known and unknown, and give customers a clear plan and next update.
  • Investigate unfamiliar issues across web applications, APIs, integrations, authentication, data, and code paths. Use logs, audit trails, session data, and monitoring tools to reconstruct what happened, test hypotheses, and identify a path to resolution when no playbook exists.
  • Build scripts, integrations, automations, tooling, and other technical solutions for customer and team needs. Contribute code fixes where appropriate through Engineering review.
  • Build and improve AI agents and workflows. Evaluate their accuracy and reliability, strengthen the context and safeguards they depend on, and measure whether they reduce customer effort or repeat work.
  • Lead CXE’s technical and customer response during high-severity incidents. Help drive containment, engage the right on-call teams, provide timely updates, contribute to customer-facing RCAs, and follow corrective actions through to completion.
  • Partner with account teams to understand strategic customers, spot recurring friction or emerging risks, and address problems before they become escalations.
  • Manage concurrent priorities while protecting shared queue health, service levels, and communication quality across shifts and regions.
  • Turn patterns from customer issues into adopted runbooks, onboarding improvements, automation, product feedback, or Engineering action that reduces recurrence. Mentor CXE 1 engineers through pairing, reviews, and case debriefs.
  • Participate in rotational shifts and on-call coverage, including occasional evenings or weekends, to support global customer needs.

Who you are

  • You have 3 to 7 years of experience in technical support, product support, solutions engineering, implementation, cloud support, software engineering, SDET, or a similar customer-facing technical role.
  • You can independently investigate unfamiliar technical problems using API and application logs, audit trails, monitoring, session data, and other available tools. You can isolate likely causes across web applications, APIs, integrations, and customer workflows, and explain the evidence behind your conclusions.
  •  You know how to reconcile conflicting evidence, validate findings, and diagnose authentication and integration failures across systems.
  • You can write and debug practical code in Python or a similar language, read unfamiliar code, and build scripts or automations that others can use.
  • You are ready to lead difficult customer conversations. You prepare thoroughly, communicate with technical credibility and empathy, adapt your message to different audiences, and give clear updates even before the root cause is known.
  • You make sound decisions under pressure: assessing impact, prioritising work, bringing in the right people, and keeping investigations moving.
  • You take ownership without waiting to be chased. You can work effectively across Engineering, Product, and GTM while keeping both technical accountability and the customer’s next steps clear.
  • You have hands-on experience using AI to investigate, build, and improve workflows, and you test its output before relying on it.
  • You are open to rotational shifts and occasional on-call coverage across a global customer base.

Even better if you

  • Debugged ATS, HR-tech, developer-tooling, or other complex B2B SaaS integrations.
  • Built and maintained customer solutions, internal tools, agents, or automations that were adopted and had measurable impact.
  • Evaluated AI agents or workflows for accuracy, reliability, and safety, then improved them based on real use.
  • Contributed fixes or improvements to a production codebase in a support, solutions, tooling, or software engineering context.
  • Worked directly with strategic enterprise customers on technical solutions or proactive risk reduction.

You will thrive in this role if

  • You enjoy getting to the bottom of customer problems and building solutions that prevent them from recurring.
  • You can be calm and credible with a customer under pressure while driving a rigorous technical investigation behind the scenes.
  • You move comfortably between debugging, building, customer communication, and cross-team coordination.
  • You see patterns across individual cases and turn them into improvements the team adopts.
  • You use AI and coding tools to extend what you can do and take responsibility for the quality of what you build.
  • You help others grow through your judgment, coaching, and the systems you leave behind.

Compensation

The base salary range for this role is $120,000–$135,000, plus a target 10% annual bonus tied to individual and company performance. You will also receive equity (stock options) and a comprehensive package of cash and non-cash benefits.

What you will do as a Customer Engineer

The Customer Engineer (CE) is the core driver of our technical go-to-market strategy: a trusted technical advisor and primary architect of the customer journey. You will bridge the gap between technical strategy and business value—guiding enterprise clients from initial pre-sales technical validation through onboarding, deployment architecture, and full lifecycle expansion. Sitting within the GTM organization and reporting to a Customer Engineering Leader, you will not hand off your customers once an initial agreement is reached. Instead, you will operate as a quota-carrying technologist, leveraging AI-augmented workflows to eliminate administrative toil so you can focus on high-value architectural design and driving measurable business outcomes across the entire customer journey.

Key Responsibilities

  • Technical Validation: Partner closely with Account Executives to lead technical deep-dive discovery, capture business requirements, and map complex customer infrastructure - DNS, CDN, Zero Trust, Network Security, Workers - to fit-for-purpose Cloudflare architectures and bespoke solutions. . Define, scope, success criteria, and technical evaluations plans for Proof of Concepts (PoCs) and Technical Validations. Deliver tailored technical presentations, architectural diagrams, and demonstrations that show how Cloudflare solves specific performance, security, and reliability challenges. Proactively address complex technical objections, security compliance questions, and edge-case architectural requirements during the sales cycle. Take accountability for a suitable solution deployment strategy (Customer, Partner or Cloudflare Professional services) being an integral part of all proposals.
  • Customer Adoption & Value Realization: Provide oversight to technical onboarding and implementation, but not execute the implementation, serving as the primary executive and engineering contact for the customer. Design structured migration and onboarding blueprints tailored to the customer’s environment (e.g. DNS migrations, Zero Trust rollouts, WAF tuning guidance), and act as the lead consultant for customer engineering teams, walking them step-by-step through configuration best practices.  Partner with Account Executives to own discovery, demos, onboarding, technical health, risk, and expansion strategy. Proactively monitor customer health scores and telemetry to ensure rapid time-to-value, resolve integration bottlenecks, and reduce deployment risk.
  • Commercial Accountability & Expansion: Carry a variable quota tied directly to new business acquisition and/or ongoing account growth. Be commercially accountable for ensuring deep platform adoption, retaining revenue, and identifying strategic cross-sell and up-sell opportunities based on product usage data. Lead technical Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs) to translate platform capabilities into return on investment for C-level executives.
  • Trusted Advisory: Act as a trusted technical advisor throughout the entire customer lifecycle, maintaining a continuous, deep relationship with key stakeholders from initial onboarding through maturity, renewal, and expansion. Provide thought partnership on architecture, AI control layers, security posture, and deployment confidence. Identify potential deployment risks or integration bottlenecks early, and provide remediation strategies to de-risk customer outcomes.
  • AI Orchestration & Workflow Automation: Leverage AI agents, Large Language Models (LLMs), and internal platforms to automate routine tasks such as RFP/Security Questionnaire responses, sandbox provisioning, basic telemetry monitoring, and internal/external documentation, reclaiming your time for strategic customer advisory.
  • Education & Enablement: Partner closely with the Enablement Team to design, build, and govern technical resources. Define, document, and educate both internal teams and customers on deliverables such as Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), architectural best practices, and technical guides to continuously raise the technical baseline across the organization.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Experience: Experience in a customer-facing technical role, such as Solutions Engineering, Customer Engineering, Professional Services,  Sales Engineering, Technical Account Management, or as a Forward Deployed Engineer (years of experience required will vary based on Associate, Senior, Staff, or Principal leveling).
  • Architectural Mindset: Ability to white-board, design, and articulate complex enterprise network and security architectures clearly.
  • Consultative & Advisory Skills: Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate deeply technical concepts into business outcomes for both hands-on engineers and C-level executives.
  • Commercial Mindset: Proven track record of operating in a quota-carrying or revenue-aligned environment, with a strong understanding of SaaS metrics, business value translation, and enterprise sales cycles.
  • Communication: Exceptional presentation and stakeholder management skills, capable of bridging the gap between deep technical implementation details and high-level C-suite business strategy.
  • Technical Breadth: We do not expect every candidate to be an expert in every domain. Qualified candidates will demonstrate depth in at least four of the technical areas below:
    • Internet fundamentals: Deep understanding of how the Internet works, including OSI Model layers 1–7, BGP, GRE, TCP/UDP, DNS (authoritative and recursive), HTTP(S), and SSL/TLS.
    • Security: Expertise in the security of Internet properties, including WAF, Bot Management, Firewalls, Rate Limiting, (M)TLS, Zero Trust, and SASE concepts.
    • Performance: Expertise in the performance of Internet properties, including speed, latency, caching, video streaming, HTTP/2, and TLS 1.3.
    • AI Proficiency: Familiarity with prompt engineering, AI-assisted scripting and log analysis, LLM utilization, and workflow automation to augment everyday CE workflows.
    • Coding/Scripting: Proficiency in Python, JavaScript, Bash, Lua, Go, or similar languages to write custom integration scripts, API connectors, and edge computing functions.
    • Developer Platform Fluency: Experience designing, building, deploying or scaling applications using RESTful/GraphQL APIs, SDKs, webhooks, and developer tooling in cloud-native environments. Familiarity with infrastructure-as-code (Terraform, Pulumi), CI/CD pipelines, and observability for developer-led deployments.

Strongly Preferred Qualifications (The “Good-to-Haves”)

  • Technical Enablement: Track record of creating and delivering technical enablement - workshops, code samples, documentation, or developer onboarding - that accelerates customer adoption of complex platforms.
  • Applied AI Knowledge: Experience with LLM orchestration, Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) architectures, and model-access controls.
  • Regulatory Knowledge: Understanding of regulatory requirements such as PCI DSS, HIPAA, and SOC 2.
  • Hyperscaler / Digital Native Background: Talent coming out of hyperscalers, digital natives, distributed systems environments, or startups is strongly valued for its deeper cloud fluency and advanced architecture depth.

Support Senior Manager, Customer Success Management at HubSpot

Leads LATAM customer success teams, driving retention, expansion, coaching, hiring, operational excellence, and AI-enabled service improvements.

Senior Posted about 3 hours ago RemoteFirstJobs Product
What this role involves

Resumes must be submitted in English.

We are looking for a strategic, results-oriented AI-first leader to serve as Senior Manager of Customer Success (LATAM) at HubSpot, responsible for engaging, retaining, and growing our customer base across the LATAM ES and Mexico regions. This role will involve managing a group of 13-16 Customer Success Managers (CSMs) across multiple markets to ensure long-term customer retention and sustainable growth. You will lead by example, making data-driven decisions, fostering a high-performance culture, and driving the vision for the future of Customer Success at HubSpot.

You will be the key to scaling our business by empowering your team to be customer advocates and strategic partners. If you are passionate about driving customer outcomes, thrive in fast-paced environments, and excel at coaching teams, this is the role for you.

What You’ll Do

Drive Revenue Retention and Growth: You will be accountable for the gross retention, adoption, and expansion of customers across diverse markets. You will work with your team to identify at-risk accounts early and drive strategies that ensure long-term success. You understand the stakes of operating at this scope. Decisions you make ripple across a large book of business and can directly impact financial outcomes, so you approach them with the rigor and foresight they require.

Build and Develop High-Performing Teams: Hire, coach, and empower CSMs to deliver strong results. This means creating a culture where CSMs work with clarity, purpose, and measurable goals. You make deliberate decisions about when to develop talent internally versus when the team needs to hire for a specific capability gap. Your development goals are tied to business outcomes, not just career aspiration.

Set the Talent Bar: You define what great looks like for CSMs at this level and make sure that definition is understood and lived by your team. You can articulate what an excellent CSM looks like in the LATAM context and coach toward that bar consistently. You set meaningful performance expectations and provide targeted coaching to elevate the team, not just manage individuals to their goals.

AI-Powered Operational Excellence: Oversee the operational rigor for your teams, including recruitment, training, capacity planning, and quality assurance. You anticipate failure points before they surface and create preemptive solutions rather than reacting when things break. You leverage AI and data to evaluate and improve customer success practices, and you build the systems and mechanisms that make progress visible to you and your stakeholders at all times.

Strategic Program Ownership: Lead high-impact regional initiatives. Whether it is launching new customer programs, introducing adoption initiatives, or optimizing processes, you will act as the champion for innovation and growth across the CS function in LATAM. You lead cross-functional goals end-to-end, bringing in Sales, Partners, and Contract Management as needed, and you build the accountability mechanisms that keep programs on track without requiring you to be the single point of execution.

Customer Advocacy and Escalation Point: Serve as a second-level escalation point for customer concerns and ensure that the voice of the customer is heard across departments. You model strong cross-functional collaboration and are trusted by teams in Sales, Partners, Contract Management, and beyond to align on competing priorities and drive customer outcomes. You do not just manage escalations. You shape how the team prevents them.

Drive Organizational Change: You are a driver of change within the CS function, not just a recipient of it. When strategy shifts, whether that is a new segmentation model, a program launch, or a structural reorganization, you take ownership of alignment within your team and across stakeholders. You help your CSMs understand the why behind changes and adapt quickly without losing momentum on their books.

What We’re Looking For

Cross-Functional Results Leader: You operate at a strategic level, leading goals end-to-end across Sales, Contact Management, and CS without needing to own every action item personally. You know when to delegate and when to step in, and you move between execution and decision-making fluidly. You bring clarity to ambiguous situations and set the direction so your team can move fast without waiting for you at every step.

Ruthless Prioritizer: You excel at managing competing priorities and focusing on what drives the biggest impact. You lead your team to consistently deliver high-quality results without sacrificing quality, even when navigating tight deadlines.

Remarkable Communicator: Your communication style is clear, concise, and persuasive at all levels of the organization. You foster transparency and trust through regular, candid feedback.

Challenger Coach: You lead with empathy, but you are unafraid to have difficult conversations early to ensure your team members are constantly improving. You challenge your team to step out of their comfort zones and grow into their next roles.

Relentless Commitment to Growth: You are always looking for ways to challenge the status quo and drive transformational growth, whether that is operational efficiencies or strategic innovations in customer success.

Demonstrable Skills and Experience

  • 3+ years of management experience leading CSM teams in complex, multi-market environments.
  • Proven leadership ability to coach, influence, develop, motivate, and empower employees to achieve their best while maintaining high team morale.
  • Ability to use AI and data to understand performance and make data-driven decisions to identify and implement new opportunities to drive customer success.
  • Strong understanding of business financial metrics, revenue drivers, and ROI models. This person can help shape how we deliver and communicate value and coach their teams on this.
  • Expertise in building strong, multi-threaded relationships at different levels of the customer organization, from executive decision-makers to day-to-day influencers.
  • A track record of defining performance standards for a team, not just managing to them. You can articulate what an excellent CSM looks like in the LATAM context and coach consistently toward that bar.
  • A track record of hitting goals and aligning a team around key growth metrics.
  • Ability to communicate effectively in small and large groups, including with senior leadership.
  • Organized with deep attention to detail when it matters.
  • Self-motivated, decisive, and experienced leading teams through organizational change and ambiguity.
  • Experience working effectively with all levels of management.
  • Proven track record leading initiatives across multiple functions.

At HubSpot, we value both flexibility and connection. Whether you’re a Remote employee or work from the Office, we want you to start your journey here by building strong connections with your team and peers. If you are joining our Engineering team, you will be required to attend a regional HubSpot office for in-person onboarding. If you join our broader Product team, you’ll also attend other in-person events, such as your Product Group Summit and other gatherings, to continue building on those connections.

If you require an accommodation due to travel limitations or other reasons, please inform your recruiter during the hiring process. We are committed to supporting candidates who may need alternative arrangements

Support Customer Success Manager at Customer.io

Manages a portfolio of mid-market customers, guiding onboarding, adoption, retention, expansion, and long-term success.

Mid Posted 1 day ago RemoteFirstJobs Product
What this role involves

About Customer.io

Over 9,000 companies — from scrappy startups to global brands — use our platform to send billions of emails, push notifications, in-app messages, and SMS every day. Customer.io powers automated communication that people actually want to receive. We help teams send smarter, more relevant messages using real-time behavioral data.

About the role

Hi, my name is Lauren, Senior Manager of Customer Success at Customer.io, and I’m looking for a Customer Success Manager to join our Mid-Market, APAC or EMEA team.

You’ll own the success of a dedicated portfolio of roughly 40-60 Mid-Market customers — acting as their strategic advisor from onboarding through long-term adoption, and driving commercial outcomes across your book of business. You’ll partner closely with Account Management, Technical Support, Product, Solutions, and Engineering to help customers realize real value throughout their lifecycle.

We don’t need you to be a marketing expert or a deeply technical one. We need someone who’s an expert at asking the right questions — someone who digs until they find the real problem, not just the reported one, and who can influence a customer to make progress and move through blockers. You’ll be curious and eager to understand our app well enough to take a customer’s use case and turn our features into outcomes that matter to them.

What we value

  • Curiosity about the business behind the customer: You’re genuinely interested in how companies operate and enjoy learning your customers’ industries and goals. You ask about the why behind a request before recommending a solution.
  • Trusted advisor, not ticket-taker: You build relationships that turn you into a strategic partner rather than someone who simply answers questions. You have well-formed opinions about customer experience and aren’t shy about sharing them.
  • Ownership of commercial outcomes: You see CS as a value and growth engine. You take ownership of outcomes across your book and naturally look for opportunities to create more value, partnering with AM on retention and expansion.
  • Comfort in ambiguity: You thrive on complex, open-ended customer challenges — bringing together business context, technical understanding, and creativity to solve them. You’re calm under pressure, highly organized, and able to juggle competing priorities across a full portfolio.
  • AI-forward thinking: You’re comfortable using AI tools to improve your own productivity and your customers’ outcomes, and you bring a growth mindset toward experimenting with new AI-powered ways of working.

What you’ll do

  • Manage a dedicated portfolio of ~40-60 Mid-Market customers as their strategic partner across the full customer lifecycle
  • Lead onboarding — running kickoffs and milestone check-ins, and guiding customers to their first measurable outcomes
  • Build a deep understanding of each customer’s goals and translate them into measurable, mutual success plans
  • Provide proactive, consultative guidance through regular strategic touchpoints and value-driven conversations
  • Monitor customer health, spot adoption trends, and address risks before they impact success
  • Partner with Account Management to support retention and expansion, and coordinate with Technical Support, Product, Solutions, and Engineering when deeper expertise is needed
  • Own escalations end to end — from identification through resolution — keeping customers informed and confident throughout
  • Advocate for your customers internally by sharing product feedback and influencing improvements to the customer experience
  • Drive AI adoption across your portfolio — coaching customers on AI-powered solutions and modeling what AI-native Customer Success looks like
  • Contribute to the broader CS organization by sharing best practices, improving playbooks, and participating in webinars and enablement initiatives

What we’re looking for

  • 2+ years as a Customer Success Manager for technical products, in a SaaS environment
  • Experience communicating with software developers in a technical capacity
  • Opinionated about customer experience — you should have well-formed views in order to give customers strategic advice
  • Fluency in French, Russian, and/or Spanish (we are prioritizing multilingual candidates for this role)
  • Located in Australia, New Zealand, United Kingdom or Ireland
  • Bonus: experience designing lifecycle messages

Compensation & Benefits

We believe in transparency. The salary for this role is $80,000 USD (or equivalent in local currency) depending on experience and subject to market rate adjustment.

We know our people are what make us great, and we’re committed to taking great care of them. Our inclusive benefits package supports your well-being and growth, including 100% coverage of medical, dental, vision, mental health, and supplemental insurance premiums for you and your family. We also offer 16 weeks paid parental leave, unlimited PTO, stipends for remote work and wellness, a professional development budget, and more.

See full benefits here →

Our Process

No gotchas, no trick questions - just a clear, human process designed to help both of us make an informed decision.

  • 30-minute video call with Recruiter
  • 45-minute video call with Hiring Manager
  • 45-minute Homework Review Call + feedback with potential team members

All final candidates will be asked to complete a background check and employment verifications as part of our pre-employment process.

Customer.io recognizes the stifling impact of systemic injustice on diverse communities. We commit to using our influence to increase inclusion and equity within the tech industry. We strive to build an inclusive team culture, implement bias-free hiring practices, and develop community partnerships to expand our global impact.

Zoom is the only video conference platform that we use, virtual interviews will be conducted using the video capability (i.e., not via the chat), and offers will be extended in writing on official Customer.io letterhead. Please be vigilant in all of your job search activity, and if you have any questions please contact jobs@customer.io.

Join us!

Check out our careers page for more information about why you should come work with us! We believe in empathy, transparency, responsibility, and, yes, a little awkwardness. If you’re excited by what you read — apply now.

Support Customer Success Manager, Nurture at Pushpay

Manages church customer onboarding, training, support, relationships, and processes while helping build Nurture’s customer success function.

Mid Remote Posted 1 day ago RemoteFirstJobs Product
What this role involves

About Nurture

Nurture, a Pushpay company, is a pastoral care platform helping churches shepherd their people through technology. We are growing rapidly inside Pushpay and are hiring our first dedicated Customer Success Manager to partner directly with our Head of Customer Experience. This person will help shape the scaffolding of how Nurture serves churches at scale — from onboarding through long-term relationships.

About the Role

Today, one person leads onboarding, training, ongoing support, and the customer relationship across roughly 45 churches, with many more in the pipeline. This role exists to take significant ownership of that work — starting with onboarding and administrative drive — while growing into a true thought partner who can help build out the customer success function as Nurture scales. You will ride along on training trips and customer engagements early on, learning the pastoral and product context firsthand, then carry the weight of execution and process as we grow.

Named as one of BuiltIn ‘ Best Places to Work’ in Seattle, Denver and Dallas for 2025; ranked number 10 by Seattle Business Magazine in the ‘ Washington’s 100 Best Companies to Work For’ list in the large companies category for 2024; named as a 2025 ‘ Best Places to Work for Women’ by Best Companies Group.

Benefits and Compensation

We have a passion for making all employees feel supported. In addition to having a genuine interest in helping you do your best work and drive your career, we offer:

  • 100% employer-paid premiums for Medical HDHP Plan, Dental, and Vision for employee
  • 70% employer-paid premiums for Medical PPO Plan for employees, and Medical, Dental, and Vision for dependents
  • 401K match
  • Remote
  • 12 paid Company Holidays
  • 2 paid Volunteer Time Off days
  • 15 days PTO to start, increases with tenure and seniority.
  • Paid parental and adoption leave
  • Compensation Range: $67,500 - $76,000, depending on location.

Compensation ranges are determined by role and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the pay range for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.

The following states are approved as remote work locations for this position: AR, AZ, CA, CO, FL, GA, IA, IL, IN, MD, MI, MN, MO, NC, OH, OK, PA, SC, TN, TX, WA, VA - All other states are not in consideration for this role at this time.

What You’ll Do

  • Lead day-to-day onboarding execution: securing customer access, coordinating with the development team on technical setup, building out onboarding templates, and keeping projects moving from access through delivery.
  • Partner closely with the Head of Customer Experience as a through line for customers — joining sales calls, kickoff meetings, data practices conversations, strategy sessions, and training engagements.
  • Run customer-facing meetings independently once strategy is defined, including ongoing monthly check-ins and relationship management for an assigned book of churches.
  • Translate between customers and the dev team: bring solutions back from engineering, follow up with customers on what’s complete and what remains, and reduce the number of times an engineer has to be pulled into customer calls.
  • Support documenting processes as they are designed — onboarding playbooks, support workflows, training best practices, ministry-specific strategies — so the team can scale.
  • Identify what can be automated or delegated (including to AI tools) versus what must stay human and pastoral, and help build that operational backbone.
  • Travel periodically for in-person training and customer engagements alongside the Head of Customer Experience.

Who You Are

  • Servant-Hearted. You look for ways to support the team by proactively identifying needs and stepping in to meet them, embracing a “no task is too small” mentality, and never staying siloed to a job description.
  • Naturally Curious. You love to learn about why and how things work. You like to spend time understanding your customer’s needs in detail, and how you can help. You look for ways to be better every day.
  • Strategic and process-oriented. You think in steps, structures, and systems — and bring order to chaos. You will compliment a highly relational leader by serving as a thought partner, focusing on translating strategy into systems and processes.
  • A driver and a closer. You do not wait to be followed up with; you carry the ball across the line and close the loop with everyone involved.
  • Problem Solver. You love identifying and tackling the most difficult of challenges and know how to work with a team to get to the best solution. You go the extra mile with a strong work ethic; self-directed and resourceful. Many would describe you as a “self- starter” or “driven”.
  • Adaptable and scrappy. You are comfortable in an early-stage environment where the playbook is being written in real time, and you are excited to help write it.
  • Credible in the room: You can confidently and humbly lead discussions with executive pastors and other church leadership.
  • Customer-minded with a technical aptitude. You are not a coder, but you understand technology well enough to have a meaningful conversation about CHMS integrations (Planning Center, Pushpay CCB, Rock, Salesforce) and to evolve strategy alongside a customer.

What You’ll Bring

  • Meaningful church or ministry experience — either staff experience or deep, sustained involvement in a local church. You understand how pastors think and what change management looks like in a ministry setting.
  • Experience in a customer-facing role at a SaaS or technology company, or comparable experience leading implementations and ongoing relationships with organizational customers.
  • Strong written and verbal communication; comfortable leading meetings and producing clear documentation.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple work-streams independently and prioritize without hand-holding.
  • Familiarity with one or more church management systems (PCO, Pushpay CCB, Rock, Salesforce) is a strong plus.
  • Willingness to travel for customer trainings and team gatherings.

What Success Looks Like

  • First 30 days: Shadow customer-facing engagements (sales calls, onboarding kickoffs, training sessions). Begin owning the administration of active onboardings. Document what you observe.
  • First 90 days: Independently lead onboarding execution end-to-end for new customers. Become the primary point of contact for an initial book of churches. Establish a recording-and-review habit across customer calls so we can keep improving.
  • First 6 months: Own the ongoing relationship and monthly check-ins for ~50 churches. Have helped codify onboarding, support, and training playbooks that the next hires can step into.

Why This Role

You will work directly with the founders and leaders of Nurture, inside the support of Pushpay. You will help build something genuinely new — a way for churches to pastor their people through technology — and you will have an unusual influence over how the customer experience function is shaped from the ground up.

Pushpay is committed to equal opportunity. We value and embrace diversity and inclusion of all Team Members. Pushpay uses E-Verify to confirm employment eligibility. Head to our career page to learn more.

If you have a disability under the Americans with Disabilities Act or similar law, or you require religious accommodation, and you wish to discuss potential accommodations related to applying for employment at Pushpay, please contact peopleteam@pushpay.com.

  • Independent and adaptable: You thrive in fast-paced, ambiguous environments and take ownership without being told

  • Experience using and implementing AI; specifically, Claude Cowork where you’re building skills and artifacts
