As an Outbound BDR, you’ll be at the forefront of our outreach efforts — proactively identifying and engaging potential customers, researching target accounts, initiating conversations, and qualifying leads for our Account Executives. You’ll collaborate closely with both marketing and sales to make sure our outreach strategies are effective and building a strong pipeline.

We don’t expect you to be an expert from day one. What matters most is your curiosity, your passion for connecting with people, and your commitment to driving new business growth. Our team will support you as you learn and develop in your role.

What we value

  • Curiosity — you’re always looking for ways to improve and learn
  • Clear communication — you can articulate ideas concisely and compellingly
  • Resilience — you stay motivated and bounce back from rejection
  • Organization — you manage multiple priorities without dropping the ball
  • Collaboration — you thrive working across teams and welcome feedback
  • Drive — you’re self-motivated, target-oriented, and hungry to grow

What you’ll do

  • Research and identify target accounts using various tools and resources, building a robust prospect list
  • Initiate outreach through cold calls, emails, and social media to generate interest and qualify needs
  • Qualify leads based on business fit, timing, and readiness to speak with an Account Executive
  • Schedule high-quality meetings between interested decision-makers and our sales team
  • Maintain accurate records of prospect interactions and pipeline status in our CRM
  • Collaborate with marketing to refine outreach strategies and improve lead generation processes
  • Nurture relationships with prospects who are interested but not yet ready to engage fully
  • Regularly update your manager and team on outreach activity and progress toward goals

What we’re looking for

  • Strong communication skills and genuine enjoyment connecting with new people
  • Resilience with rejection and the self-motivation to keep pushing toward targets
  • Excellent organization and ability to manage multiple priorities with attention to detail
  • Familiarity with CRM tools like Salesforce or HubSpot
  • A proven track record in lead generation and outreach
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, target-driven environment

Preferred:

  • 1–2 years of experience in a similar outbound sales role, ideally in SaaS or tech
  • Prior outbound sales experience at a SaaS company
  • Familiarity with sales methodologies and lead generation strategies
  • Business Proficient Language: French
  • Willingness to travel for team events (approximately 1-2x per quarter)

Compensation & Benefits

We believe in transparency. Compensation for this role is $65,000 base + $32,095 variable = $97,095 OTE USD (or equivalent in local currency) depending on experience and subject to market rate adjustment.

We know our people are what make us great, and we’re committed to taking great care of them. Our inclusive benefits package supports your well-being and growth, including 100% coverage of medical, dental, vision, mental health, and supplemental insurance premiums for you and your family. We also offer 16 weeks paid parental leave, unlimited PTO, stipends for remote work and wellness, a professional development budget, and more.

Our Process

No gotchas, no trick questions - just a clear, human process designed to help both of us make an informed decision.

  • 30-minute video call with a Recruiter
  • 30-minute video call with the Hiring Manager
  • Take Home Assignment
  • 45-minute Assignment Review Call with two Managers

All final candidates will be asked to complete a background check and employment verifications as part of our pre-employment process.

Operations Paragon Planners : PART-TIME Remote Administrative Scheduler

Manages calendars, schedules client appointments, communicates by phone and email, and maintains accurate client records.

Junior Remote Posted about 11 hours ago We Work Remotely — Programming
What this role involves

Headquarters: Oregon
URL: https://paragonplanners.com/employment/

PART-TIME Remote Administrative Scheduler | 20–30 Hours/Week

100% Remote | Monday–Friday | $18.50–$20.00/hour, based on experience

Paragon Planners is looking for a professional, dependable, and highly organized Administrative Scheduler to join our remote team.

In this role, you’ll support professionals in the financial services industry by managing schedules, connecting with clients, and helping keep their day-to-day operations organized and running smoothly.

This position offers 20–30 hours per week, with work taking place during regular Monday - Friday business hours. It’s a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working with people, takes pride in staying organized, and is looking for meaningful professional work without a traditional 40-hour schedule.

What You’ll Do

As an Administrative Scheduler, you’ll build relationships with the professionals you support while helping them stay connected with their clients.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Making outbound calls to schedule and confirm appointments

  • Communicating professionally with clients by phone and email

  • Managing calendars and coordinating schedules

  • Entering and maintaining accurate information in client databases

  • Following established processes and client-specific instructions

  • Providing dependable administrative support throughout the workweek

This role is a good fit for someone who is personable, comfortable on the phone, detail-oriented, and enjoys being the person who keeps things organized behind the scenes.

Schedule & Availability

Because our Administrative Schedulers support clients throughout the business day, consistent Monday–Friday availability is required.

  • Availability is needed during standard business hours, generally 8:30 AM–5:00 PM in the client’s time zone

  • Both morning and afternoon availability are required throughout the week

  • Working hours may not fall into one continuous block each day

  • Schedules are based on the needs of the clients you support

  • Initial hours may build gradually as you complete onboarding and are assigned to clients

This position is designed for candidates specifically seeking part-time work. If you are seeking a traditional 40-hour workweek or full-time employment, this position will not be the right fit.

Training & Onboarding

We provide training and support to help new employees learn our systems, processes, and the expectations of the role.

New employees should plan for approximately 8–12 hours of training per week during the initial training period. As you progress through onboarding, you may begin working with clients while continuing to complete your training.

Client assignments are based on current business needs and finding the right match between employees and the professionals they support, so candidates should be comfortable with a gradual ramp-up in hours.

What We’re Looking For

Successful candidates are typically:

  • Warm, polished, and professional communicators

  • Comfortable speaking with clients by phone

  • Highly organized and detail-oriented

  • Dependable and responsive

  • Able to work independently and manage their time effectively

  • Comfortable following detailed instructions and adapting to different client preferences

  • Comfortable learning new technology

  • Experienced in administrative support, scheduling, customer service, or another client-facing role

  • Interested in a long-term professional opportunity

Previous remote-work experience is helpful, but not required.

Location Requirements

We are currently only hiring in the following states: AL, AZ, FL, GA, ID, KY, LA, MI, MO, NC, OH, OR, SC, TN, TX, UT & WY.

Applicants must reside in one of the states listed above to be considered.

We do not hire outside of the United States.

Home Office & Technology Requirements

Because this is a fully remote position, employees must have:

  • A quiet, professional home-office environment suitable for client calls

  • Reliable high-speed internet

  • A Windows 11 computer

  • The ability to participate in video meetings and training

Macs, iPads, Chromebooks, and virtual machines are not compatible with the technology requirements of this position.

Background Screening

Employment is contingent upon successful completion of required background screening. Due to the nature of our work within the financial services industry, our screening process is comprehensive and may include multiple background checks.

Compensation

Starting pay: $18.50–$20.00 per hour, based on relevant experience.

Employees are eligible for a compensation review after six months, with opportunities for continued increases as they gain experience and tenure with Paragon Planners.

About Paragon Planners

Paragon Planners provides administrative and scheduling support to professionals in the financial services industry. Our remote team helps clients manage their schedules, stay connected with their customers, and keep important day-to-day details moving.

We value professionalism, dependability, strong communication, and people who genuinely enjoy helping others.

Ready to Apply?

If you enjoy working with people, love keeping things organized, and are looking for a professional remote role with weekday hours, we’d love to hear from you.

Please follow all application instructions carefully. Incomplete or incorrectly submitted applications will not be considered.

Lead client conversations, presenting Toptal’s perspective on innovation and experience topics, and ask exploratory questions to better understand client needs.
  • Begin the Relationship: Through lead-generation activities and cold-calling, you will prospect, educate, qualify, and develop sales-ready leads and opportunities from unsigned clients and accounts. You will enthusiastically explain Toptal’s vision, pinpoint opportunities, and generate interest.
  • Client and Industry Knowledge: Clients are at the heart of everything we do. As the first point of contact for future Enterprise clients, you will be building rapport through strategic outreach and a well-rounded client and industry knowledge. Researching clients and staying informed on industry trends will be key to your success.
  • Collaborate with Team Members: You will collaborate with your team and Sales Executives to pursue opportunities, recommend appropriate follow-up actions, and schedule qualified meetings. Communicating via Zoom and Slack is critical to maintaining a high level of collaboration and clear communication within the team.
  • Growth and Development: Our team has an aversion to complacency. We are always looking to improve both individually and as a team. Being open to and implementing feedback will be critical success factors in this role and at Toptal. As you become more comfortable in the role, you will help evolve our demand generation strategy and tactics.

In the first week, expect to:

  • Onboard and integrate into Toptal.
  • Learn Toptal’s model, our value proposition, and our story.
  • Work with cross-functional teams to understand how you can utilize our incredible global team to build client relationships and drive success.
  • Learn the breadth of Toptal’s impact on the world’s largest companies.
  • Grasp the importance of the SDR function to the success of Toptal.
  • Understand our sales method and our selling process to set you up for success.

In the first month, expect to:

  • Complete our personalized sales training program with mock calls, cold calls, and role-play scenarios.
  • Learn how to use Salesforce.com (our CRM) and other SaaS outreach tools (ZoomInfo, SalesLoft, LinkedIn Sales Navigator).
  • Integrate into your pod, partner with Enterprise Sales Executives and Client Partners, and begin targeting strategic accounts.
  • Learn the process for outreach, including calling, emailing, and LinkedIn messaging. Implement an outreach process and hit 1-month objectives.
  • Learn how to analyze industry drivers, business problems, and target buyers.

In the first three months, expect to:

  • Become fully ramped on the SDR team, attaining your metrics, which include calls, emails, and other sales activities.
  • Exercising discretion and independent judgment, uncover new opportunities within existing accounts and target accounts that result in revenue-generating engagements for Toptal.
  • Hit call/email quotas and fully ramped objectives.
  • Become proficient in using our SaaS tools.
  • Learn how to maintain excellent data integrity in Salesforce.com.

In the first six months, expect to:

  • Continuously hit fully ramped quotas and objectives.
  • Assist with training and onboarding new SDRs.
  • Build new and existing client relationships, expand Toptal’s partnerships, and continue to execute account plans.
  • Suggest, implement, and experiment with new lead and demand generation activities.

In the first year, expect to:

  • Have built a portfolio of net new accounts from the strategic account list.
  • Become a mentor to new members of the team, helping them learn about Toptal, our model, and how proper sales development practices can improve relationships and increase revenue.

Qualifications and Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree is required.
  • 1-3 years of experience as an Enterprise SDR.
  • Knowledgeable. Broad understanding of business challenges encountered by Enterprise clients.
  • Critical thinking. Critically think through the challenges clients face to create new opportunities from unsigned clients and accounts.
  • Perseverance. Be relentless and push towards your goal.
  • Passion. Enthusiasm and ambition to succeed in this role, as it can be difficult if you hate rejection.
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.
  • Curiosity. A desire to understand people, their problems, their companies, and their industries.
  • Conscientiousness. We’re not doing a simple SaaS sale, so discussions may get technical. Understanding sophisticated issues and explaining them to clients is important.
  • Motivated. Be highly motivated and continuously strive for personal and professional improvement.
  • Resourceful. Think about target accounts as your own business - we want self-starters who are passionate about hunting for new accounts, and who thrive with the freedom and accountability of leading their portion of the business.
  • Proactive. Understand our mission and do the work required to drive us to that goal, by following a process and being creative.
  • Communication. You must exhibit outstanding written and verbal communication skills. Communication is the lifeblood of both internal and external relationships. Demonstrate excellent communication in all forms, across a wide variety of personality types, roles, and geographies.
  • Team. Nothing we do is done in isolation. Success depends on your ability to work as a team both within Toptal and within your client accounts.
  • Ownership. Exhibit ownership of accounts, successes, and failures.
  • Problem Solver. Life throws in minor challenges beyond the primary problems this role is meant to solve. You must have the ability to take those in stride and persist despite setbacks.
  • Prioritization. The nature of this role requires that you understand the priorities and timelines associated with each of your accounts and execute appropriately with those in mind.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, rapidly growing company and handle a wide variety of challenges, deadlines, and a diverse array of contacts.
  • You must be a world-class individual contributor to thrive at Toptal. You will not be here just to tell other people what to do.
