Why you’ll love being a CloudTalker

Unlimited PTO that people actually take. Fully remote with four European hubs. A coach you can book, a career path in writing, and equity when you deliver. Here’s the full package.

Get better, faster

  • 💬 A coach you can actually book. Recurring 1-on-1 sessions with our resident coach. A real conversation about your career, on company time.
  • 🪜 Promotions without guesswork. Our job-leveling framework is transparent: every level and its expectations, in writing. You’ll always know what the next step requires and where you stand.
  • 📈 A path to equity. At CloudTalk, equity is earned over time. Seniority, tenure, and consistent impact, together, are what get you there. Not an automatic perk. Something you grow into.

Work the way you work best

  • 🌴 Unlimited PTO, and we mean it. Taking 30 days a year is normal here. Deliver beyond expectations, and you’ve bought yourself room for more.
  • 🌍 The right setup for your role. Depending on the team, you’ll either work from one of our hubs four days a week or have the option to work fully remotely. Our offices are fully equipped and centrally located.
  • ⏰ Flexible hours, built around your team. No clocking in, no clocking out. Be there for your team, clients, and the meetings that matter. The rest is yours.
  • 💻 Gear that doesn’t fight you. A MacBook for work, plus a home-office allowance for remote roles to build a setup you like sitting at.

Rest like you mean it

  • 🔋 Recharge Fridays: 4 extra all-company days off a year. Once a quarter, everyone is off at the same time. You come back to zero pings, not a doubled backlog. That’s the point.
  • 🏃 Fitness allowance. Gym, climbing, yoga, whatever keeps you moving. You choose, we pay.

People worth staying for

  • 💸 Up to €5,000 per referral. You know great people. When we hire one of them, you get paid for it.
  • ✈️ Two offsites a year worth packing a bag for. The all-company offsite (last year: Tuscany 🇮🇹) plus a dedicated function-specific offsite, both somewhere remote enough that people actually talk.
  • 👕 Fresh CloudTalk swag every year, with a points system to earn more.

What to expect from our hiring process:

  1. Initial Chat: Interview with our Talent Acquisition team (30 minutes)
  2. Role-Play & Role Deep Dive Interview with your future manager (60 minutes)
  3. Culture Bar Raiser Call: Assess cultural fit and potential (30 minutes)

🎯 Offer!

Build, test, deploy, and maintain frontend and backend services for Taboola’s self-service advertising platform using AI-assisted development tools.

Junior Onsite Posted 3 days ago RemoteFirstJobs Product
What this role involves

Realize your potential by joining the leading performance-driven advertising company!

As a Junior Software Engineer in the Emerging Growth group in our Tel Aviv office, you’ll play a vital role in building one of Taboola’s newest and most strategic growth domains: a self-service platform that lets advertisers and partners independently build, optimize and scale their campaigns.

We’re an AI-native team. AI coding agents like Claude Code, Codex and Cursor are part of how we design, build, test, review and operate our systems every day, and we build our own agents, skills and automated workflows on top of them. We’re looking for someone early in their career who learns fast, takes on new languages and challenges without hesitation, and uses AI to multiply their impact.

Our Tech Stack:

  • AI: Claude Code, Codex, Cursor, MCP, Langfuse and much more
  • Backend: Java, Spring, Python, Kafka, MySQL, Cassandra, Vertica, HDFS, BigQuery, Druid, Docker, K8S, Grafana
  • Frontend: JavaScript, TypeScript, React, HTML, CSS, Jest, Playwright

To thrive in this role, you’ll need:

  • B.Sc in Computer Science or equivalent
  • 1–2 years of hands-on software development experience in a production environment, as an intern, in a student position or full-time
  • Hands-on AI: you use AI coding tools (Claude Code, Codex, Cursor) as part of your daily development workflow, and you know how to check and verify what they produce
  • Fast learner: you pick up new languages, frameworks and domains quickly, and you aren’t afraid to dive into what you don’t know
  • The ability to juggle several workstreams and switch context well, including coordinating multiple AI agents working in parallel
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • A product-driven mindset and a passion for working close to the business

Bonus points if you have:

  • Experience with Java or other object-oriented languages (C#, Kotlin, C++ or similar)
  • Experience building AI agents, MCP servers, custom skills or automated workflows on top of AI coding tools
  • Full-stack experience with JavaScript/TypeScript, React, HTML and CSS
  • Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases (MySQL, Vertica, Cassandra)
  • Exposure to large-scale distributed systems, Kafka, Docker or Kubernetes
  • Experience with big data tools (Spark, BigQuery, Airflow)
  • Graduated with honors

How you’ll make an impact:

  • Have end-to-end ownership: design, build, ship, measure and maintain frontend and backend services in a brand-new product domain
  • Work AI-first: use AI coding agents every day to plan, code, test, review and debug, often running several agents in parallel on different tasks
  • Build AI agents, skills and workflows that multiply the team’s capabilities, such as automated code reviews, data analysis, production investigation and feature validation
  • Develop at unimaginable scale, serving thousands of requests per second
  • Influence directly on the way billions of people discover the internet
  • Collaborate closely with the brightest engineers, product managers and business teams
  • Work on innovative projects that are the next growth engines for Taboola

Why Taboola?
