Morgan, CapitalG, and Lead Edge Capital. Learn more at grafana.com and follow us on LinkedIn and X.

We’re scaling fast and staying true to what makes us different: an open-source legacy, a global collaborative culture, and a passion for meaningful work. Our team thrives in an innovation-driven environment where transparency, autonomy, and trust fuel everything we do.

You may not meet every requirement, and that’s okay. If this role excites you, we’d love you to raise your hand for what could be a truly career-defining opportunity.

This is a remote position and we’re considering candidates in the UK, Spain, and Ireland.

About the role:

We are looking for an engineering manager to lead our application security engineering team.  You will be responsible for developing and implementing security strategies, as well as liaising with other teams delivering parts of our overall security posture. You’ll be accountable for the security of software you don’t write, in teams that don’t report to you. The people who do well in this role get there by making the secure path the easiest one.

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of implementing and improving the maturity of security programs, through the use of automation and systematic approaches in Cloud-based SaaS organizations, and possess excellent leadership and communication skills.  You can tell the difference between a finding and a risk, and know how to prioritise risk mitigation, guiding the squad towards the most effective use of their time.

You must have significant engineering acumen as this is a highly technology-driven role.  Your main role will be to support your engineering team and to do that you should be able to review a threat model, challenge a severity rating, and contribute to a design review.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead our application security team covering a range of areas, including application security, cloud security, and internal tooling development.
  • Lead 1st and 3rd party vulnerability management, including coordinated disclosure with external reporters and embargoed fixes.
  • Define, optimize, and implement the engineering strategy in concert with the security leadership team, ICs and stakeholders across the business.
  • Regular 1:1s, coaching and mentoring to ensure your team members are motivated, happy and engaged. Providing continuous feedback to ensure that they can add value while maintaining high standards.
  • Collaborating with our engineering leaders and other organization stakeholders to help define and influence wider product strategy, roadmaps and designs.
  • Be actively engaged with significant incidents, including preparation, simulation, response, and affected customer notification and communications.
  • Contributing to and reviewing design documents for upcoming projects. Ensuring projects are well-defined and ready for development. Advise on how to break down projects into tasks.

Requirements:

  • Prior experience running a security engineering team.
  • You have a strong engineering background and are capable of engaging in technical conversations and challenging teams to arrive at strong technical decisions themselves.
  • You will be comfortable working with engineering teams who have a strong sense of autonomy in their decision-making, be it technical or product-focused.
  • While you’re great with people and adept at managing relationships, you still keep up-to-date with the latest technical trends and shifts to maintain and enhance your understanding of the challenges your teams face.
  • You approach security with a DevOps mindset. You prefer security by enablement, automation, and guardrails over gates and roadblocks.
  • You have familiarity with securing and operating on public Cloud (AWS, GCP, Azure) providers, with Kubernetes, and with securing combined open-source software (OSS) and SaaS products.
  • You are an excellent written and verbal communicator. You can articulate complex cybersecurity concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences. You are adept at translating security problems to business impact.

Bonus Points:

  • A technical background, ideally with programming or software engineering experience, before transitioning into security & leadership.
  • Working knowledge of Grafana Labs OSS projects and products. Experience in using observability tooling to solve security problems.
  • Experience working with OSS communities.
  • Experience securing large-scale distributed systems.

Built on open source and open standards and designed for interoperability across any stack, Grafana Cloud brings AI to observability and observability to AI, giving teams (and their agents) unified visibility so they can see, understand, and act on all their disparate data, wherever it lives, and move at the speed of their ambitions. Customers, including Anthropic, Bloomberg, NVIDIA, Microsoft, and Salesforce, rely on Grafana Labs. We are a 100% remote company with team members across 40+ countries, backed by leading investors including Lightspeed Venture Partners, Sequoia Capital, GIC, Coatue, J.P.

We’re looking for a Security Engineer to join our SEC team, working alongside our DevSecOps engineers to harden our cloud environment, maintain our ATO, and actively drive down the program’s POAM backlog.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Engage directly with engineers and external stakeholders to drive remediation forward
  • Maintain a live dashboard and tracker for all security findings and POAM status

What you’ll bring:

  • Hands-on experience remediating POAMs and navigating the federal ATO process

  • Proficiency with AWS environments and cloud security practices

  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines, CloudFormation, and infrastructure as code

  • Familiarity with Zero Trust principles and federal cybersecurity frameworks including FISMA and NIST 800-53

  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple findings, timelines, and stakeholders simultaneously

  • Comfortable engaging directly with engineers and external stakeholders to move remediation forward

  • Experience with Docker and containerized environments is a plus

  • Thrives in a remote, collaborative Agile environment and genuinely enjoys working closely with a cross-functional team

  • Communicates clearly and openly, whether updating a tracker or presenting findings to leadership

  • Performs other related duties as assigned

Requirements:

  • Applicants must be authorized to work in the United States. In alignment with federal contract requirements, certain roles may also require U.S. citizenship and the ability to obtain and maintain a federal background investigation and/or a security clearance.

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree

Benefits:

  • Fully remote
  • Annual stipend
  • Comprehensive Benefits Package
  • Company Match 401(k) plan
  • Flexible PTO, Paid Holidays

Any applicant with a mental or physical disability who requires an accommodation during the application process should contact an Oddball HR representative to request such an accommodation by emailing hello@Oddball.io

Compensation:

At Oddball, it’s important each employee is compensated competitively and fairly. In alignment with state legal requirements. A range for the included position is listed below. Be advised, actual offer details are determined by job category, job location, and candidate skill level.

Security Expel: Associate SOC Analyst

Investigates security alerts, hunts for threats, analyzes incidents, and helps customers remediate attacks in a managed detection and response SOC.

Junior Remote Posted 4 days ago We Work Remotely — Programming
What this role involves

Headquarters: Remote

You’ve got the spark, the curiosity that makes you ask “why?” when others move on. You love solving puzzles, learning new tools, and understanding how things work (and how they break). Maybe you’ve done some hands-on IT work, tinkered with packet captures, or even caught yourself reading about the latest exploits for fun. If that sounds like you, you might be exactly who we’re looking for.

At Expel, we protect customers by thinking like attackers. Our analysts investigate alerts, dig through data, and communicate findings with empathy and precision. As an Associate SOC Analyst, you’ll be on the front lines of our Managed Detection & Response (MDR) service, helping detect, analyze, and respond to threats across diverse environments from endpoint to cloud.

This is more than an entry point, it’s a launch pad. We’ll train you, mentor you, and help you grow from your first alert triage to full-scale investigations. You’ll learn from expert analysts who’ve seen it all (and lived to meme about it). You’ll refine your craft in real-world scenarios, protecting real organizations, and making a visible impact.

What Expel Can Do For You

  • Analyze and investigate alerts to identify, assess, and respond to potential threats.
  • Collaborate with teammates and customer security teams to remediate incidents and strengthen defenses.
  • Conduct threat hunts and root-cause analysis to uncover attacker activity.
  • Take ownership of alert triage through the entire lifecycle—from detection to resolution.
  • Constantly look for ways to improve how we detect, defend, and deliver for our customers.
  • Participate in 24x7 rotational coverage, because attackers don’t sleep.

What You Can Do For Expel (With the help of training, of course)

  • Get you out of theory and into real security operations.
  • Surround you with seasoned mentors who want to see you succeed.
  • Offer training, tools, and hands-on experience to accelerate your career.
  • Immerse you in a collaborative, growth-minded culture that values curiosity, communication, and creativity.
  • Provide transparent pay, unlimited PTO, flexible work, and up to 24 weeks parental leave.

What You Should Bring With You

  • Integrity, curiosity, and a client-first mindset.
  • Strong written communication, you can adapt tone and detail whether you’re messaging a teammate or writing a customer report.
  • A fundamental understanding of TCP/IP, operating systems, and common network protocols.
  • Experience with Windows, macOS, and Linux systems, including command-line familiarity.
  • Awareness of cloud applications (O365, Okta) and cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure, GCP).
  • Familiarity with detection and response tools like SIEM, EDR, and IDS/IPS.
  • A curiosity about attacker techniques, the MITRE ATT&CK framework, and how defenders can outsmart them.
  • 1–2 years of IT or security experience is preferred, but if you’ve got passion, potential, and a compelling story, we want to hear it.

Additional notes

The base salary range for this role is between $85,000 USD and $90,000 USD + 20% bonus (paid out quarterly) & equity.

We believe in paying transparently and equitably. Your salary will ultimately be based on factors such as your experience, skills, team equity, and market data. You’ll also be eligible for unlimited PTO (which we model and encourage), work location flexibility, up to 24 weeks of parental leave, and really excellent health benefits.

We’re only hiring those authorized to work in the United States. We do not currently sponsor immigration visas.

We’re an Equal Opportunity Employer: You’ll receive consideration for employment without regard to race, sex, color, religion, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, protected veteran status, or on the basis of disability.

We’ll ensure that individuals with disabilities are provided reasonable accommodation to participate in the job application or interview process, to perform essential job functions, and to receive other benefits and privileges of employment. Please let us know if you need accommodation of any kind.

Salary Range$85,000—$90,000 USD

Security Business Systems Security Analyst at Wrike

Secures Salesforce and other SaaS business systems by managing permissions, integrations, data flows, privacy, and governance.

Senior Remote Posted 4 days ago RemoteFirstJobs Product
What this role involves

Wrike is the most powerful work management platform. Built for teams and organizations looking to collaborate, create, and exceed every day, Wrike brings everyone and all work into a single place to remove complexity, increase productivity, and free people up to focus on their most purposeful work.

Wrike is our people, not a place. As a distributed team, we own our growth, stay globally connected, and rely on the product we build to deliver impactful work alongside brilliant minds. You’ll have real ownership over meaningful work, a global team that has your back, and the flexibility to do your best work your way. If that sounds like you, we’d love to hear from you.

Our vision: A world where everyone is free to focus on their most purposeful work, together.

About the Role:

You’ll work alongside diverse, cross-border teams and supportive colleagues who share knowledge and want to see you succeed. Salesforce, Marketo, Salesloft, and a growing web of integrated SaaS tools run large parts of Wrike’s business. As that footprint grows, we’re hiring a dedicated analyst to bring stronger visibility, governance, and risk understanding to this business systems estate — partnering closely with the teams who own and use these tools.

Your Impact:

  • Own security for Wrike’s business systems SaaS tools such as Salesforce, Marketo, Salesloft, and the integrations that connect them, covering permissions, sharing rules, connected apps, OAuth scopes, and integrations.
  • Build and maintain clear visibility into what data lives in these systems, why it’s there, and how it flows between integrated tools.
  • Partner with RevOps, Marketing, Legal and others to embed security into how these platforms are configured, extended, and connected to third-party services.
  • Translate security and business-continuity issues into clear, actionable terms for non-technical stakeholders.
  • Ensure business systems handling personal data hold up against privacy frameworks including GDPR and CCPA, in close collaboration with Legal and Compliance.
  • Chase data-flow and permission questions to ground truth which means following through until the answer and its implications are genuinely clear.

Your Qualifications:

Your primary expertise is in Salesforce administration and business systems security. Everything else listed here is context you’ll operate in. Depth in the primary domain matters more than breadth across all of them.

  • Salesforce administration experience with a strong security lens. This means permissions, sharing rules, connected apps, and integration patterns.
  • Solid understanding of how business systems interconnect and why that matters for data exposure and business continuity.
  • Able to communicate issues precisely to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Working knowledge of privacy frameworks such as GDPR and CCPA at minimum.

You don’t need to tick every box! We’re looking for depth in business systems security and the drive to grow across the rest.

Standout Qualities:

  • Certified Salesforce Administrator credential.
  • Security+, ISC2 CC, or an equivalent security certification.
  • Experience auditing or governing SaaS-to-SaaS integrations
  • Exposure to data security posture management (DSPM) or data classification in SaaS environments.
  • You use AI as a force multiplier — to move faster, think wider, and go deeper — but your security instincts and judgement are your own. You don’t outsource thinking to a tool.
  • Demonstrated tenacity in chasing complex data flows and access permissions across multi-tool integrations to a definitive answer.

Team Dynamics:

You will be joining Wrike’s 15-member global Security team led by Maksim Pekuryn, Director of Security. You will report directly to Swen Groeneveld, Head of Security Operations, whose 8-person sub-team includes Security Engineers, Application Security, and SOC specialists. You’ll also work closely with cross-functional partners in RevOps, Marketing, and Legal.

Our Work Style:

  • Tech stack: Salesforce, Marketo, Salesloft, OAuth integrations, connected apps, and related business SaaS tooling.
  • Collaborative environment working closely with RevOps, Legal, and Marketing teams.
  • Hybrid mode.

Benefits & Perks:

  • 25 calendar days of paid vacation
  • Sick Leave Compensation (5 Paid Uncertified Sick Days)
  • Parental Leave: 18 Weeks Maternity / 4 Week Paternity
  • 2 Volunteer Days
  • Medical Insurance (Employees + Dependents)
  • Hybrid Working Model
  • School Allowance (Up to €600/month for school aged kids)
  • Simcard w/ Unlimited Internet Access for active employees
  • Office Lunch Allowance (via Wolt) on Wednesdays / Thursday

What’s Next?

  • Recruiter Screen (30 mins)
  • Department Interview / Technical Discussion (60 mins)
  • Cultural Interview with Hiring Manager, CISO, and HRBP

Your recruitment buddy will be Aleksandar Chernev, Senior Technical Recruiter.

Representing more than 40% of global GDP, these industries are the infrastructure of our planet, including agriculture, construction, field services, transportation, and manufacturing — and we are excited to help digitally transform their operations at scale.

Working at Samsara means you’ll help define the future of physical operations and be on a team that’s shaping an exciting array of product solutions, including Video-Based Safety, Vehicle Telematics, Apps and Driver Workflows, and Equipment Monitoring. As part of a recently public company, you’ll have the autonomy and support to make an impact as we build for the long term.

About the role:

The Senior Security Engineer – Enterprise Security shares ownership of the day-to-day operation of the Samsara security environment. You will keep our network access, device trust, and visibility systems running, tuned, and resilient at enterprise scale in partnership with a global team. Utilizing modern principles, you’ll maintain and evolve a modern zero trust program, spend time both on policy design and real-time triage for escalations.

You take security seriously and believe the best solutions are low-friction and built in partnership with others. You are comfortable owning and maintaining production systems for long term success - troubleshooting systemic issues, tuning policies based on real incidents, and continuously improving what is already built. You bring an automation mindset to repetitive work, whether using Python, SOAR platforms, or AI-assisted tools. You enjoy supporting teammates and helping other engineers build their security knowledge.

This is a remote position open to candidates residing in the United Kingdom. Relocation assistance will not be provided for this role.

About this team:

Enterprise Security is a global team spanning the US, EMEA, and India. We work in close partnership with our coworkers as collaborators rather than gatekeepers. Leadership is hands-on and technical, and our culture encourages everyone to contribute across the full stack.

Executive leadership actively champions security as a competitive advantage that builds customer trust and helps win enterprise partnerships. You will see a direct line between the zero trust systems you operate and the security that protects our physical operations partners worldwide. Our on-call rotation for the highest severity incidents is spread evenly across the team for one week out of every ten.

In this role, you will:

  • Co-own the day-to-day operation, triage, and tuning of the Samsara endpoint security environment by responding to escalations, investigating anomalies, and resolving issues
  • Continuously improve existing endpoint visibility tools and workflows in partnership with our Security Operations team, and based on real usage patterns and incident learnings
  • Write clear, concise documentation and runbooks for enterprise security workflows
  • Collaborate with partners across Engineering, IT, and Security to ensure proper implementation of security tools and policies
  • Assist the Security Operations team during security investigations, acting as a technical subject matter expert within your domain
  • Partner with engineering teams to triage and support remediation of vulnerabilities and misconfigurations
  • Mentor engineers on the Security team to grow their domain knowledge, tool-specific skills, and communication abilities
  • Champion, role model, and embed Samsara cultural principles (Focus on Customer Success, Build for the Long Term, Adopt a Growth Mindset, Be Inclusive, Win as a Team)

Minimum requirements for the role:

  • 5+ years of relevant experience in an Enterprise Security role with demonstrated impact
  • Hands-on experience operating and maintaining endpoint security and visibility tools at enterprise scale (e.g. Crowdstrike, osquery, or similar)
  • Exposure to at least one additional enterprise security tool stack beyond endpoint security, such as Secure Access Service Edge (SASE), zero trust systems,  email security, Data Loss Prevention (DLP), or Identity and Access Management (IAM)
  • An automation mindset with experience scripting and debugging code with Python (with or without AIassistance) and using SOAR platforms
  • Strong familiarity with common security challenges and the ability to independently evaluate their severity and business impact
  • Track record of delivering impactful work across multiple quarters and collaborating effectively across teams

An ideal candidate also has:

  • Significant breadth across the endpoint security ecosystem, including designing layered controls with EDR tools, passive telemetry, integration with threat intelligence feeds, and operation in cloud and containerized environments.
  • History of building out security programs using modern SaaS security platforms such as Crowdstrike, Mimecast Incydr, and Splunk
  • Experience with infrastructure as code deployments using Terraform
  • Experience with AI-driven automations

Our compensation program delivers above-market total compensation through a combination of base salary, performance-based bonus/variable pay, and equity (for eligible roles) in a high-growth public company. We meaningfully differentiate pay for our top performers, who have the opportunity to earn above-market compensation that can outpace the broader market over time.

Beyond compensation, we provide the foundations that enable long-term success: a flexible, employee-led remote model, a professional development stipend, comprehensive health and parental leave plans, and more. If you’re ready to build for the long term and own the outcome, your journey starts here.

Who we are

Samsara (NYSE: IOT) is the pioneer of the Connected Operations™ Cloud, which is a platform that enables organizations that depend on physical operations to harness Internet of Things (IoT) data to develop actionable insights and improve their operations. At Samsara, we are helping improve the safety, efficiency and sustainability of the physical operations that power our global economy. As part of a recently public company, you’ll have the autonomy and support to make an impact as we build for the long term.

About the role

Samsara Security is looking for a Senior Threat Detection Engineer. This is a hands-on engineering role: you will build and operate the signals, pipelines, and tooling that power how we discover threats against Samsara and our customers.

The Threat Detection team owns the detection platform end to end — the data pipelines that feed it, the detection content that runs on it, the CI/CD that ships it, and the AI-assisted tooling that scales what a small team can cover. You will write detections, and you will also build the machinery that makes the next detection faster to develop, safer to deploy, and measurable in production.

You will report to the Director of Threat Detection and Response and work closely with Security Operations, Application Security, and Enterprise Security, as well as engineering teams across the company.

We are looking for someone who takes projects from idea to proof-of-concept to production, who is comfortable being the first person to build something, and who is genuinely interested in what AI can and cannot do for detection engineering — including where it introduces risk rather than removing it.

This role is open to candidates residing in the US except the San Francisco Bay Metro Area, NYC Metro Area, and Washington, D.C. Metro Area.

You should apply if:

  • You want to impact the industries that run our world: Your efforts will result in real-world impact—helping to keep the lights on, get food into grocery stores, reduce emissions, and most importantly, ensure workers return home safely.
  • You are the architect of your own career: If you put in the work, this role won’t be your last at Samsara. We set up our employees for success and have built a culture that encourages rapid career development, countless opportunities to experiment and master your craft in a hyper growth environment.
  • You’re energized by our opportunity: The vision we have to digitize large sectors of the global economy requires your full focus and best efforts to bring forth creative, ambitious ideas for our customers.
  • You want to be with the best: At Samsara, we win together, celebrate together and support each other. You will be surrounded by a high-caliber team that will encourage you to do your best.

In this role, you will:

  • Build, deploy, and continuously improve MITRE ATT&CK–aligned detections across cloud, endpoint, identity, email, and application telemetry, with clear false-positive thresholds.
  • Own the full detection lifecycle—from hypothesis, data validation, and baselining through deployment, tuning, validation, and retirement.
  • Advance our detection-as-code platform through version control, peer review, automated testing, CI/CD, and improved pipeline reliability and observability.
  • Identify emerging threat surfaces and build integrations that strengthen data ingestion, enrichment, and coverage across internal and third-party systems.
  • Evaluate AI-powered security capabilities, including secure MCP integrations, threat hunting, anomaly detection, and response automation.
  • Turn threat intelligence into actionable detection and retrospective scanning.
  • Partner closely with Security Operations during investigations, incidents, table top exercises, detection maintenance, and code pairing.
  • Champion, role model, and embed Samsara’s cultural principles (Focus on Customer Success, Build for the Long Term, Adopt a Growth Mindset, Be Inclusive, Win as a Team) as we scale globally and across new offices.

Minimum requirements for the role:

  • 6+ years in security engineering, detection engineering, or a related technology discipline.
  • Strong Python and SQL skills, with experience analyzing large datasets to build and validate detections.
  • Hands-on experience with detection-as-code, Git-based workflows, automated testing, and CI/CD deployment.
  • Deep experience with modern SIEM platforms, including data onboarding, advanced queries, dashboards, and threat intelligence enrichment.
  • Working knowledge of AWS, Linux, containers, and EDR.
  • Proven ability to build systems from scratch, lead projects independently, learn new technologies quickly, and communicate technical concepts clearly through documentation, RFCs, and presentations.

An ideal candidate also has:

  • Experience with data orchestration platforms such as Airflow or Databricks.
  • Applied experience with LLMs, agentic frameworks, and MCP integrations, including their security risks and failure modes.
  • Experience with behavioral analytics, anomaly detection, feature engineering, and model evaluation.
  • Familiarity with risk-based alerting, ChatOps, distributed alerting, and attack simulation.
  • Additional experience with Go, Terraform, malware analysis, digital forensics, or FedRAMP environments.

Security Business Systems Security Analyst at Wrike

Secures Salesforce and other business SaaS systems by managing permissions, integrations, data flows, privacy compliance, and stakeholder risk communication.

Mid Remote Posted 4 days ago RemoteFirstJobs Product

  • 28 calendar days of paid vacation
  • Sick Leave Compensation (5 Paid Uncertified Sick Days)
  • Parental Leave: 18 Weeks Maternity / 4 Week Paternity
  • 2 Volunteer Days
  • Health Insurance (Employees + Dependents)
  • Life Insurance Plan
  • Utility Allowance (30 EUR/month, subject to taxation)
  • Fitness Plan (800 EUR/year)
  • Full-remote & On-demand access to Co-working space

What’s Next?

  • Recruiter Screen (30 mins)
  • Department Interview / Technical Discussion (60 mins)
  • Cultural Interview with Hiring Manager, CISO, and HRBP

Your recruitment buddy will be Aleksandar Chernev, Senior Technical Recruiter.

Who Is Wrike and Our Culture

We’re a team of innovators and creators who solve the complex work problems of today and tomorrow.

Hybrid work mode

Wrike is our people, not a place. With 1,000+ employees collaborating across nearly every time zone, we support talent through 10 global hubs — Australia, Costa Rica, Cyprus, Czechia, Estonia, France, India, Ireland, Japan, and the United States — offering flexible ways of working that include remote work, hybrid environments, and co-working spaces across many locations.

While flexibility looks different across teams and regions, employees located near certain hubs — particularly in Prague (CZ), Nicosia (CY), Bangalore (IN), and Rennes (FR) — are generally expected to collaborate in person around 2–3 days per week, balancing the flexibility of distributed work with opportunities for in-person collaboration and connection.
