Research Market Analyst at Douro Labs

Analyze crypto market trends, on-chain and venue data, trader behavior, and opportunities to guide Pyth’s product and business strategy.

Mid Remote Posted 4 days ago RemoteFirstJobs Product
What this role involves

Douro Labs is the core development team behind the Pyth Network. We’re looking for a Market Analyst to track the crypto markets, specifically prediction markets and perpetual futures, and turn that understanding into business opportunities for Pyth.

This role is for an analyst who can read the market and explain why it matters to us: someone who can pull on-chain and venue data to quantify a new trend one hour and write the report that convinces the team to act on it the next. You will serve as our eyes on two of the fastest-moving areas in crypto, covering the market side (monitoring events, trader conversations, volumes, and new venues across prediction markets and perps) and the product side (translating that research into a clear picture of our users and concrete opportunities for Pyth).

  • Location: Remote (US or Europe)

  • Type: Full-time

  • Reports to: Head of Technical Operations

About Our Team and Your Role

We are a well-rounded team: half of us are tech whizzes, while the other half excel in building partnerships with institutional clients, prime brokers, and the global financial infrastructure community. Curiosity and rigor are key to how we operate.

Remote Work: Our team is spread across the globe, from the US and South America to Europe and Asia. We are a digital-first organization where remote work is the norm.

Startup-level Speed: We thrive in the dynamic DeFi space and need an analyst who can go from question to answer quickly, without waiting for direction.

The Mission: You will be shaping how Pyth grows in prediction markets and perpetual futures. As these markets expand and new venues launch, your research will inform where we build next and how we serve the teams building on our data.

About the Role

This is a hybrid research/strategy role. At the outset, you’ll monitor prediction markets and perps day to day and connect what’s happening to our business. Over time, your research is expected to directly shape product decisions and new opportunities across Pyth.

We want research that leads to action: every piece of work should end with a clear view on what it means for Pyth and what we should do about it.

Responsibilities

Market Monitoring

  • Track news, launches, and structural shifts across prediction markets and perpetual futures

  • Monitor the conversations where traders are active, including X, Discord servers, Telegram groups, and other trader communities, to spot sentiment shifts and emerging trends early

  • Follow volumes, open interest, funding rates, and market share across major venues

  • Connect recent events to their impact on Pyth and share timely takeaways with the team

  • Maintain a current view of the competitive landscape, including oracles and data providers serving these markets

User Research

  • Research prediction market and perps protocols to understand how they use price data

  • Map who our users are, what they need, and where current solutions fall short

  • Build dashboards and datasets the team can use to follow these markets

Product Opportunities

  • Turn research findings into concrete product ideas for Pyth

  • Size opportunities using market and on-chain data

  • Work with product, engineering, and BD to prioritize and pressure-test ideas

  • Track how launched initiatives perform against the original thesis

Research and Reporting

  • Write clear, convincing research reports for internal and external audiences

  • Present findings and recommendations to leadership

  • Build a repeatable research process the team can rely on

About You

  • Background as an analyst at a crypto research firm or in a research/data role at a perps exchange or prediction market

  • Deep understanding of prediction market and perpetual futures market structure

  • Active in trader communities and comfortable picking up signal from X, Discord, and Telegram

  • Proficient with data analysis tools (SQL, Python, Dune or similar)

  • Strong writer with a track record of research that drives decisions

  • Analytical and a self-starter, comfortable owning a research agenda independently

  • Comfortable with startup pace and evolving scope

Think you’ve got what it takes to build the most talented team in the world? We’d love to meet you.

Research Research Engineer at Invisible Technologies

Designs model benchmarks, reinforcement learning environments, evaluation methodologies, data pipelines, and production systems for measuring AI capabilities.

Senior Posted 9 days ago RemoteFirstJobs Product
What this role involves

About Invisible

Invisible Technologies makes AI work. Our end-to-end AI platform structures messy data, automates digital workflows, deploys agentic solutions, measures outcomes, and integrates human expertise where it matters most.

Our platform cleans, labels, and structures company data so it is ready for AI. It adapts models to each business and adds human expertise when needed, the same approach we have used to improve models for more than 80% of the world’s top AI companies, including Microsoft, AWS, and Cohere.

Our successes span industries, from supply chain automation for Swiss Gear to AI-enabled naval simulations with SAIC, and validating NBA draft picks for the Charlotte Hornets.

Profitable for more than half a decade, Invisible reached $134M in revenue and ranked as the number two fastest growing AI company on the 2024 Inc. 5000. In September 2025, we raised $100M in growth capital to accelerate our mission of making AI actually work in the enterprise and to advance our platform technology.

About The Role

Invisible is building a reinforcement learning capability inside its research organization, focused on evaluation methodology, benchmarks, and RL environments for frontier labs and enterprise clients. As a Research Engineer, you’ll work on how frontier models are measured, meaning the evaluations that labs and enterprises actually make decisions on, with direct influence over the methodology and not just its implementation.

You’ll take a research question (how do we measure whether a model can do this work, and how do we make that measurement reproducible?) and turn it into a scoring framework, an evaluation architecture, or an environment design, then ship the production system that runs it. This role doesn’t hand specifications to someone else to build, and it doesn’t only build what others have specified. It’s a fit for someone who wants to design the approach and write the code that proves it out.

Depending on level, the role reports to the Lead Research Engineer or, at Principal, directly to the VP of Research.

What You’ll Do

  • Design benchmarks and RL environments that measure real model capability for frontier labs and enterprise clients
  • Originate evaluation methodology and translate it into scoring frameworks, rubrics, and evaluation architectures
  • Write and ship the production code that implements your designs
  • Build and maintain the data pipelines that feed evaluation runs
  • Run the analysis that establishes whether a result holds, and make evaluations reproducible
  • Partner with Research Scientists on methodology review, with Solutions Architects on client requirements, and with ML software engineers who build and maintain the underlying platform

What We Need

  • Production-quality code written daily; this is a hard requirement
  • Python & ML Stack: Fluency in Python and comfort across the modern ML stack
  • Evaluation & Infrastructure: Real experience building evaluation systems, RL environments, or training and inference infrastructure
  • Agentic Systems: Hands-on experience with modern agentic flows
  • RL & Frontier Evaluation: Familiarity with reinforcement learning methods and how frontier models are evaluated; we weigh this more heavily than years of experience
  • A track record of turning ambiguous research questions into working systems, and publishing or shipping the result

You can find more information about our geographic pay tiers here. During the interview process, your Invisible Talent Acquisition Partner will confirm which tier applies to your location. For candidates outside the U.S., compensation is adjusted to reflect local market conditions and cost of living.

*Bonuses and equity are included in all full-time offers. Final compensation is determined by a combination of factors, including location, job-related experience, skills, knowledge, internal pay equity, and overall market conditions. Because of this, every offer is unique. Additional details on total compensation and benefits will be discussed during the hiring process.

Research Anthropic: Anthropic Fellows Program, ML Systems & Reinforcement Learning

Conducts mentored AI research projects in machine learning systems and reinforcement learning, producing empirical findings and public research outputs.

Remote Posted 11 days ago We Work Remotely — Programming
What this role involves

Headquarters: London, UK; Ontario, CAN; Remote-Friendly, United States; San Francisco, CA

About Anthropic

Anthropic’s mission is to create reliable, interpretable, and steerable AI systems. We want AI to be safe and beneficial for our users and for society as a whole. Our team is a quickly growing group of committed researchers, engineers, policy experts, and business leaders working together to build beneficial AI systems.

Anthropic Fellows Program overview

The Anthropic Fellows Program is designed to foster AI research and engineering talent. We provide funding and mentorship to promising technical talent - regardless of previous experience.

Fellows will primarily use external infrastructure (e.g. open-source models, public APIs) to work on an empirical project aligned with our research priorities, with the goal of producing a public output (e.g. a paper submission). In one of our earlier cohorts, over 80% of fellows produced papers. We run multiple cohorts of Fellows each year and review applications on a rolling basis.

Apply at the bottom of this page. We are accepting applications on a rolling basis for the next cohort expected to start in January 2027. In some circumstances, we can accommodate fellows starting outside the usual cohort timelines — please note in your application if the January 2027 start date doesn't work for you.

What to expect

  • 4 months of full-time research
  • Direct mentorship from Anthropic researchers
  • Access to a shared workspace
  • Connection to the broader AI safety and security research community
  • Weekly stipend of 3,850 USD / 2,310 GBP / 4,300 CAD + benefits (these vary by country)
  • Funding for compute (~$15k/month) and other research expenses

Interview process

The interview process will include an initial application & reference check, technical assessments & interviews, and a research discussion.

We encourage you to apply even if you do not believe you meet every single qualification. Not all strong candidates will meet every single qualification as listed. Research shows that people who identify as being from underrepresented groups are more prone to experiencing imposter syndrome and doubting the strength of their candidacy, so we urge you not to exclude yourself prematurely and to submit an application if you're interested in this work. We think AI systems like the ones we're building have enormous social and ethical implications. We think this makes representation even more important, and we strive to include a range of diverse perspectives on our team.

Compensation

The expected base stipend for this role is 3,850 USD / 2,310 GBP / 4,300 CAD per week, with an expectation of 40 hours per week for 4 months (with possible extension).

Logistics

Logistics Requirements: To participate in the Fellows program, you must have work authorization in the US, UK, or Canada and be located in that country during the program.

Workspace Locations: We have designated shared workspaces in SF. We are also open to remote fellows in the UK, US, or Canada.

Visa Sponsorship: We are not currently able to sponsor visas for fellows. To participate in the Fellows program, you need to have or independently obtain full-time work authorization in the UK, the US, or Canada.

Program Duration: The program runs for 4 months, full-time. If you can't commit to the full duration, please still apply and note your constraints in the application. We review these requests on a case-by-case basis.

Please note: We do not guarantee that we will make any full-time offers to fellows. However, strong performance during the program may indicate that a Fellow would be a good fit for full-time roles at Anthropic. In previous cohorts, 25-50% of fellows received a full-time offer, and we’ve supported many more to go on to do great work on AI safety and security at other organizations.

The below are Anthropic's policies for full time roles. These do NOT apply to the Fellows Program.

Logistics

Minimum education: Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent combination of education, training, and/or experience

Required field of study: A field relevant to the role as demonstrated through coursework, training, or professional experience

Minimum years of experience: Years of experience required will correlate with the internal job level requirements for the position

Location-based hybrid policy: Currently, we expect all staff to be in one of our offices at least 25% of the time. However, some roles may require more time in our offices.

Visa sponsorship: We do sponsor visas! However, we aren't able to successfully sponsor visas for every role and every candidate. But if we make you an offer, we will make every reasonable effort to get you a visa, and we retain an immigration lawyer to help with this.

Your safety matters to us. To protect yourself from potential scams, remember that Anthropic recruiters only contact you from @anthropic.com email addresses. In some cases, we may partner with vetted recruiting agencies who will identify themselves as working on behalf of Anthropic. Be cautious of emails from other domains. Legitimate Anthropic recruiters will never ask for money, fees, or banking information before your first day. If you're ever unsure about a communication, don't click any links—visit anthropic.com/careers directly for confirmed position openings.

How we're different

We believe that the highest-impact AI research will be big science. At Anthropic we work as a single cohesive team on just a few large-scale research efforts. And we value impact — advancing our long-term goals of steerable, trustworthy AI — rather than work on smaller and more specific puzzles. We view AI research as an empirical science, which has as much in common with physics and biology as with traditional efforts in computer science. We're an extremely collaborative group, and we host frequent research discussions to ensure that we are pursuing the highest-impact work at any given time. As such, we greatly value communication skills.

The easiest way to understand our research directions is to read our recent research. This research continues many of the directions our team worked on prior to Anthropic, including: GPT-3, Circuit-Based Interpretability, Multimodal Neurons, Scaling Laws, AI & Compute, Concrete Problems in AI Safety, and Learning from Human Preferences.

Come work with us!

Anthropic is a public benefit corporation headquartered in San Francisco. We offer competitive compensation and benefits, optional equity donation matching, generous vacation and parental leave, flexible working hours, and a lovely office space in which to collaborate with colleagues. Guidance on Candidates' AI Usage: Learn about our policy for using AI in our application process.

Fellows will primarily use external infrastructure (e.g. open-source models, public APIs) to work on project aligned with our research priorities, with the goal of producing a public output (e.g. a paper submission). In one of our earlier cohorts, over 80% of fellows produced papers. We run multiple cohorts of Fellows each year and review applications on a rolling basis.

Submit your application to the Economics & Policy workstream at the bottom of this page.

  • Weekly stipend of 3,850 USD / 2,310 GBP / 4,300 CAD + benefits (these vary by country)
  • Funding for compute (~$15k/month) and other research expenses

Interview process

The interview process will include an initial application & reference check, assessments & interviews, and a research discussion.

Visa sponsorship: We do sponsor visas! However, we aren't able to successfully sponsor visas for every role and every candidate. But if we make you an offer, we will make every reasonable effort to get you a visa, and we retain an immigration lawyer to help with this.

We encourage you to apply even if you do not believe you meet every single qualification.
