Flexibility: there’s a new opportunity; you’re ready to flip the script, grow and adapt

This role owns the successful launch of Arcadium for newly signed heavy-duty truck, trailer, equipment, and bus franchise dealers, as well as the rollout of new functionality for existing customers. Arcadium’s primary product is a market-specific customer relationship management (CRM) platform built for how heavy-duty franchise dealers operate. The Implementation Specialist is responsible for on-time implementation, customer satisfaction, and platform utilization for each assigned implementation - assessing each dealership’s needs, configuring the platform to meet them, and training dealership teams on best-practice use so they see value from day one.

This role sits at the intersection of the customer, the product, and the internal teams that deliver it. The Implementation Specialist coordinates the contributions of Support, Development, Product, Sales, and Account Management to keep every implementation on track, and continuously looks for ways to improve the quality and efficiency of the implementation process, including recommending process and product changes. This is an individual contributor role reporting to Customer Success leadership; it requires strong project management, consultative, and training abilities, and up to 25% travel for on-site dealer implementations and training.

Key Responsibilities

  • Needs Assessment & Discovery: Lead structured needs assessments with dealer principals, general managers, and department leaders to document current workflows, lead and customer management processes, data, integrations, and goals across the dealership’s new and used sales, parts, and service departments.

  • System Configuration: Translate assessment findings into a configuration plan and set up the Arcadium platform - users, roles and permissions, rooftops and departments, workflows, lead sources, templates, data imports, and integrations - to fit each dealership’s operations and Arcadium best practices.

  • Implementation Project Management: Own each implementation from kickoff through go-live, building and maintaining the project plan, milestones, and timeline; managing risks and dependencies; and keeping customer stakeholders and internal teams informed of status.

  • Training & Best-Practice Adoption: Deliver role-based training, remotely and on site, to dealership users and leadership, focused on best-practice use of the platform so teams adopt it quickly and consistently.

  • New Functionality for Existing Customers: Plan and implement new products, features, and expanded use - such as additional rooftops, departments, or modules - for existing customers, partnering with Account Managers and Sales to drive adoption and utilization.

  • Cross-Functional Coordination: Coordinate the activities of Support, Development, Product, Sales, and Account Management that contribute to each implementation - scoping requests, tracking deliverables, escalating blockers, and ensuring a clean handoff to Account Management after go-live.

  • Process & Product Improvement: Identify recurring issues, bottlenecks, and gaps in the implementation process and recommend process, tooling, and product changes that improve quality, shorten time-to-value, and increase efficiency.

  • Field Engagement: Travel up to 25% to conduct on-site activities at dealer locations, and participate in company-sponsored and industry events such as dealer association meetings and trade shows.

  • Documentation & Reporting: Maintain accurate, real-time implementation status, configuration records, training completion, and customer feedback within the company CRM system, and contribute to implementation playbooks, templates, and training materials.

  • Market Expertise: Develop deep expertise in the Arcadium platform and our full portfolio of solutions and share information and context internally - including customer feedback regarding dealership operations and customer needs.

What Success Looks Like

  • On-Time Implementation: Implementations and new functionality rollouts delivered on schedule against agreed milestones and go-live dates.

  • Customer Satisfaction: High satisfaction scores and positive feedback from dealership stakeholders throughout implementation and at go-live.

  • Platform Utilization: Strong user engagement, feature usage, and workflow adoption across implemented dealerships in the weeks and months after go-live.

  • Continuous Improvement: Process and product recommendations that measurably improve implementation quality and efficiency.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in software implementation, onboarding, customer success, or account management within the heavy-duty technology market, with a history of delivering implementations on time and driving user adoption.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple concurrent implementation projects, balancing timelines, priorities, and stakeholders.
  • Heavy duty industry experience is required, in one of the following forms:
    • Experience in sales operations or fixed operations at a heavy-duty truck or trailer dealership (e.g., sales management, F&I, parts or service); or
    • Experience supporting or implementing enterprise-level software to heavy duty dealers, such as a CRM, dealer management system (DMS) or inventory or comparable dealership technology.
  • Familiarity with how dealerships manage leads, customer records, and follow-up processes, and the ability to translate those processes into software configuration and workflows.
  • Working knowledge of how a heavy-duty dealership operates - unit inventory, spec’ing and configuring customer purchases, parts and service revenue, and the relationship between dealership sales and fixed operations.
  • Proven track record of conducting needs assessments, identifying operational gaps, configuring software to meet business requirements, and driving software adoption.
  • Experience delivering effective training to groups and individuals, both remotely and on site.
  • A continuous-improvement mindset, with the ability to spot inefficiencies and make practical, well-supported process and product recommendations.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills, and the ability to coordinate cross-functional teams without direct authority.
  • Strong verbal, presentation, and written communication skills to effectively engage and influence customers both remotely and on site.
  • Ability to learn a technical product - including configuration, data imports, and integrations - and clearly explain its value to non-technical dealership customers.
  • Excellent relationship-building and consultative skills, with a proactive and resourceful approach.
  • Proficiency in CRM systems, MS Suite or Google Suite, project management tools, and other CRM products. Additionally, the ability to report and present using digital presentation software.
  • Highly motivated, professional, positive attitude, and thrives in a customer and team-oriented environment.

We are proud to offer:

  • A competitive compensation structure pairing a base salary with an incentive plan tied directly to On-Time Implementation, Customer Satisfaction, and Platform Utilization.

About the Role

We are seeking an organized, data-driven, and client-focused Implementation Manager to join our growing Customer Success team at AlphaSense. In this role, you will own the onboarding and rollout program for our largest enterprise clients, starting at the pre-sale handoff and running through the first 90 days of adoption. You will coordinate the work that moves a newly signed client from purchase to sustained usage at scale, partnering with Account Managers and Customer Success Managers throughout. Your focus is on program coordination and driving adoption. Who You Are

Relevant backgrounds include Onboarding Manager, Enterprise or Scaled Customer Success Manager, and Professional Services or Implementation roles where the focus was rollout and adoption

  • Strong communication skills to work with senior client stakeholders such as managing directors and partners, ensuring internal teams are aligned and projects are on track

What You’ll Do

  • Serve as one of the main points of contact for the rollout, leading regular status meetings and aligning resources across Sales, Marketing, Product, and Customer Success
  • Track signals such as time to first login, percentage of users reaching first login, retention on platform, and frequency of use, then act on them alongside the account team
  • Partner with Sales before close to shape the rollout plan, then hand each account to Account Managers and Customer Success Managers with a maintenance plan after roughly 90 days
  • Analyze adoption trends and potential bottlenecks and translate the data into clear, actionable insights for internal teams and client stakeholders
  • Identify areas for improvement in our onboarding approach, document best practices and standardized playbooks, and build scalable processes for a smoother, faster onboarding experience across future clients
  • Develop an understanding of the product, the customer persona, the reason for investment, and how this maps back to the customer lifecycle

Project Management ClickUp Traffic Manager (PH) at Moxie

Manages the ClickUp marketing queue, unblocks tasks, tracks SLAs and dashboards, and coordinates teams to improve campaign delivery.

Mid Remote Posted 3 days ago RemoteFirstJobs Product
What this role involves

At Moxie, we empower ambitious aesthetic entrepreneurs to build profitable, independent practices—without burnout, overwhelm, or guesswork. In just a few years, we’ve grown from an idea to a global, remote-first team now supporting 700+ practices nationwide.

Our purpose is simple: to unlock sustainable success for aesthetic entrepreneurs, at every stage of their journey.

ClickUp Traffic Manager

We’re looking for a Traffic Manager to become the nerve center of Marketing Services’ ClickUp queue — catching blocked tasks before they turn into missed deadlines, chasing down the information that’s holding work up, and giving leadership a real-time view of where every campaign actually stands.

You’ll also be stepping into a role built from the ground up: the dashboards, SLAs, and cross-team relationships you establish in your first year will become the default way Moxie tracks marketing work as we scale.

As Moxie grows past 1,000+ medspa providers without proportional headcount growth, campaign work is increasingly getting stuck in ClickUp for lack of a dedicated owner watching the queue. Right now, unblocking a task means someone — often a campaign builder or account lead — stops what they’re doing to chase down status. This role exists to take that job off their plate entirely, so they can focus on execution instead of status-chasing.

Our objectives for the role

  • Fully ramp on Marketing Services’ ClickUp structure (spaces, lists, custom fields, automations) and start actively triaging the daily task queue within your first few weeks

  • Build a ClickUp dashboard that gives PSMs a clear, at-a-glance view of task status, blockers, and overdue work for their practices

  • Own daily traffic management as a standing responsibility, resolving blocked or stuck tasks within an agreed SLA, and show measurable improvement in task turnaround time or the volume of aged tasks

  • Establish a reliable, repeatable process for chasing missing information from onboarding managers, marketing services team members, and PSMs

  • Mature ClickUp dashboards and traffic processes into the team’s default source of truth for “where is this task” — reducing ad hoc Slack status-checks — and surface systemic bottlenecks (not just individual stuck tasks) to the right owner with data

We’re looking for:

  • Someone who’s been the “glue” person on a team before — traffic, project coordination, ops — and wants that work recognized and owned outright, not treated as a side responsibility

  • Comfort getting fluent in ClickUp, HubSpot, and the CSP quickly enough to pull the context needed to unblock a task without looping in someone else first

  • A track record of building dashboards or reporting views that people actually use, and iterating on them based on what the team needs next

  • Someone energized by order and visibility rather than by doing the creative or strategic work themselves

  • Judgment to distinguish an individual stuck task from a systemic bottleneck — and the initiative to bring the latter to the right owner with data, not just a complaint

Why Join us?

  • Above all, we’re in this to empower small business owners to own and grow their businesses. If you succeed, Med Spas will remain the opportunity for independent owner-operators instead of being dominated by a small number of large chains. If that speaks to you, speak to us.

  • We have much left to build. But given the market feedback we’re getting and our founding team’s company-building experience, we think we are writing the first chapters of a real success story.

  • This is a role built from scratch — the systems and processes you put in place become the team’s operating model, not a slot you’re filling in an existing one.

  • Competitive salary

At Moxie, we believe in creating a workplace where everyone feels valued, trusted, and included. Our team lives by our values: act as owners, give more than we take, move with speed and care, and simplify and learn every day.

We welcome people of all backgrounds, experiences, and perspectives to apply. If you require any accommodations to fully participate in the interview process, please let us know, we’re happy to assist.

Project Management Chief of Staff at Only One

Leads organizational planning, executive decision-making, board governance, funding alignment, and cross-functional strategic projects alongside the CEO.

Exec Remote Posted 4 days ago RemoteFirstJobs Product
What this role involves

Only One runs campaigns that change minds and shape policy. Our international team of experts specializes in strategic communications, movement building, and public advocacy to drive impactful ocean and climate policy worldwide. Our philanthropically funded work focuses on supporting and amplifying the efforts of partners — both globally and in key regions — to restore ocean health and unlock the ocean’s potential as a climate solution.

About Only One

Only One is a campaigning organization set up to protect the ocean and stabilize the climate. We build campaigns that move governments, industry, and institutions, working alongside partners, scientists, creators, and communities around the world.

Since 2020 we have grown to a team of 25, spread across multiple countries and time zones. We are small for the scale of what we take on, which means everyone here has real ownership and the work moves quickly.

About the role

We’re hiring a Chief of Staff to sit on our leadership team, work closely with the CEO, and hold the machinery that lets a small organization run a large agenda.

This role builds on strong foundations. The current Chief of Staff has been in the role for two years, and depending on start dates we intend a proper overlap between them and their successor.

This is the role that connects intention to action. You’ll own how we plan: setting the annual cycle, translating strategy into priorities teams can act on, and tracking whether we’re getting there. You’ll own how we decide: guiding the leadership team, holding the decision record, and making sure what gets agreed actually lands. You’ll own how we’re held accountable: four board meetings a year, our committees, and our obligations as a US non-profit. And you’ll hold the line between money and mission, keeping our funding pipeline pointed at our strategic priorities rather than pulling us away from them.

A lot of this work takes the form of writing. You’ll produce board papers, strategy documents, and the memos that help a team understand a difficult decision. Alongside that, you’ll lead one or two special projects at any time: pieces of work that need a senior owner but don’t sit with any one team, such as standing up a new function, or working out how we grow without losing what makes us effective.

It’s a broad role, deliberately. If you like holding the whole picture, working closely with a CEO, and building the systems that let ambitious people do their best work, this role will suit you. You’ll also be doing it in service of something that matters, at a moment when the decisions being made about the ocean will hold for decades.

What you’ll do

Strategic planning and priorities

  • Own the annual planning cycle, from goal setting to quarterly tracking.
  • Translate long-term strategy into clear priorities that teams can act on week to week.
  • Spot where priorities collide, on timing, budget, or capacity, and force the trade-off early.

Leadership team and decision-making

  • Run the leadership team’s operating rhythm: agendas, pre-reads, decisions, and follow-through between meetings.
  • Design and facilitate the sessions where the hard calls get made, surfacing disagreement while it can still change the outcome.
  • Hold the decision record, so what was agreed is written down and stays agreed.

Board and governance

  • Plan and deliver four board meetings a year, including agendas, board packs, and minutes.
  • Prepare the CEO for board meetings, chair conversations, and committee cycles.
  • Support board composition, recruitment, induction, and committee operations.
  • Hold risk oversight and our compliance obligations as a US 501Š(3).

Fundraising oversight

  • Hold the organization-level revenue picture: what’s secured, what’s in the pipeline, and what’s at risk.
  • Check that restricted and unrestricted income supports our strategic priorities, and escalate when it doesn’t.
  • Bring development into planning, so revenue targets are set alongside organizational goals.
  • Translate strategy into our case for support, and hold quality on major proposals and reports.

Internal communication

  • Connect the leadership team with departments, and keep information moving in both directions.
  • Shape how significant news is framed and delivered, including at all-staff moments.
  • Make sure people understand not just what was decided, but the reasoning behind it.
  • Surface what teams are hearing and seeing that leadership needs to know.

Writing and special projects

  • Produce board papers, strategy documents, memos, and organization-level narrative.
  • Turn workshops, listening exercises, and messy conversations into documents people can act on.
  • Lead discrete, time-bound initiatives that sit outside any standing function.
  • Expect special projects to be around a fifth of the role, scoped with the CEO each year.

CEO support

  • Act as a thinking partner on priorities, sequencing, and what reaches the CEO.
  • Prepare the CEO for significant internal and external moments.
  • Draft on the CEO’s behalf, and represent them in rooms where appropriate.
  • Serve as a confidential sounding board on people, decisions, and risk.

Who you are

  • 6+ years in senior strategy, operations, or organizational leadership roles.
  • Breadth across most of the responsibility areas above, rather than depth in one.
  • A track record of running planning cycles and holding senior teams to what they committed to.
  • A strong writer, comfortable producing board-level and funder-facing material.
  • Experience with governance, whether through board support, committee work, or compliance.
  • Enough fluency with fundraising to read a revenue pipeline and hold quality on major proposals.
  • Comfortable holding oversight of work you don’t control, and raising issues without owning the fix.
  • A campaigning, NGO, or agency background is helpful but not essential.
  • Willing to flex hours to work with a global team.

How you show up

You make trade-offs visible. When everything is a priority, you say so out loud and force the choice. You’d rather have the awkward conversation in advance than let the team discover the problem during the crunch.

You hold the whole picture. You see how a hiring decision, a funder condition, and a campaign timeline connect. You spot the collision early, and you raise it while there’s still time to do something about it.

You write to make things happen. Your writing changes what people do, not just what they know. You can take a messy, unresolved conversation and turn it into a document a board could act on.

You chase, kindly. You’re comfortable asking where something is and holding people to what they said. You escalate early when you need to, and you never make it personal.

You are service-minded. You measure success by whether other people can do their work better. You’re glad when something you built gets used, and untroubled by not getting the credit.

You thrive on teamwork. You bring humor, humility, and kindness to a fast-paced environment. You know that everyone here plays an essential role, and you treat them that way.

What we offer

  • Salary range: $140,000–170,000 USD, based on experience
  • Fully remote working, with a global team and flexible hours
  • Generous paid time off, plus organization-wide winter and summer breaks
  • Health, dental and vision coverage, or a local equivalent depending on your location
  • An annual professional development budget
  • An annual full-team retreat

Equal opportunity

Only One is committed to building a workforce of individuals with diverse backgrounds, abilities, and identities. We are proud to be an Equal Opportunity Employer and consider all qualified applicants without regard to race, color, religion, national origin, sex, gender identity, sexual orientation, age, disability, veteran status, or any other characteristic protected by law.

To apply

The preferred deadline to apply is Monday, October 12, 2026. Please upload your resume, writing sample and respond to the application questions. This search is being supported by NRG Consulting Group. Please reach out to megan@nrgconsultinggroup.org and cc jobs@nrgconsultinggroup.org with any questions.

Project Management Project Manager, Design Team (Remote) at ManyPixels

Manages designers, assigns workloads, oversees quality, supports clients, conducts reviews, and keeps design projects on schedule.

Lead Remote Posted 10 days ago RemoteFirstJobs Product
What this role involves

About Us

ManyPixels gives SMEs, agencies, and marketing teams around the world direct access to a team of designers. No freelancer roulette, no bloated agency retainers. Since 2018, we have delivered 150,000+ designs to businesses across the globe, and we are proud to be one of the most trusted on-demand graphic design services online.

Our team is fully distributed across Europe and Asia, while most of our clients call the US home. That mix is part of what makes ManyPixels work: different time zones, different backgrounds, one shared standard for great design.

Curious what we do? Take a look: www.manypixels.co

About the Role

You will manage a team of 10+ designers and a portfolio of 100+ clients. The work is varied by design: logos one hour, landing pages the next, and it will keep evolving as we grow.

What You’ll Own

  • Workload management. Every incoming task, whether it’s a logo, a landing page, or an illustration, needs to land with the designer best suited for it. You will make sure nobody is underworked or drowning, and that we always hit our promised 24-hour delivery.
  • Quality control. You are the last set of eyes before anything reaches a client. You will check every finished task against the brief, send back what needs work, and act as the final approver on your team’s output.

Project Management Project Manager, Optimization Services at RDA

Manages multiple client optimization and maintenance engagements, coordinating scope, schedules, budgets, priorities, risks, and stakeholder communications.

Mid Remote Posted 11 days ago RemoteFirstJobs Product
What this role involves

About RDA

RDA is a strategy-first, AI-driven digital consultancy that partners with enterprise organizations to deliver scalable digital solutions across strategy, engineering, and data. Proud to be a multi-year Great Place to Work certified company.

Location

Remote within the United States.  We are primarily interested in candidates who reside in the Eastern or Central regions and can collaborate during EST business hours.  Due to current hiring restrictions, we are unable to consider candidates who reside in California, Colorado, Oregon or Washington.

The Role

RDA is seeking a Project Manager to oversee a portfolio of Optimization Services client engagements. These engagements involve ongoing software development, enhancements, maintenance, and support.  The Project Manager will coordinate work across multiple clients and delivery teams, helping manage priorities, schedules, budgets, communication, and overall engagement activity to keep work moving and clients supported.

Project & Delivery Management — Optimization & Maintenance Portfolio

  • Manage a portfolio of Optimization Services and maintenance/support engagements for existing clients, ensuring consistent, reliable delivery of ongoing enhancements, fixes, and small-scope initiatives.
  • Manage scope by using intake and prioritization processes to keep incoming requests, tickets, and mini-projects aligned with each client’s contracted scope, hours, or retainer terms.
  • Develop and maintain schedules across multiple concurrent, smaller-scope workstreams (sprints, release calendars, maintenance windows) for several clients at once.
  • Track utilization against retainer or block-hours agreements, monitor burn rate, and flag overages or underutilization before they become client issues.
  • Maintain an active risk/issue log for recurring work and escalate to the Senior Project Manager or Director when needed.
  • Work with developers, designers, and QA resources supporting multiple clients simultaneously, balancing priorities across the portfolio.

Communication & Stakeholder Management

  • Set up and run a consistent cadence with each client (status calls, ticket/work-order reporting) and with internal delivery leadership.
  • Provide clear, regular reporting on ticket/work-order status, hours utilization, and upcoming priorities.
  • Facilitate regular client check-ins and support quarterly business reviews led by senior team members.
  • Maintain accurate work-order logs, hours tracking, meeting notes, and status reports.

Client Relationship & Growth Support (Supporting Role)

  • Strengthen client relationships through consistent, dependable delivery on the day-to-day work that keeps their platforms running.
  • Recognize potential expansion or improvement opportunities that surface during ongoing work, and route them to the PMO and Sales/Account teams rather than pursuing them independently.
  • Provide delivery context, account history, and client insight to the PMO and Sales teams as they develop new opportunities with existing clients.
  • Where relevant, help identify opportunities to apply AI-enabled tools or approaches to make recurring client work more efficient (a plus, not a requirement).

What We’re Looking For

  • 2–4 years of project management or project coordination experience in a software services environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage scope, schedule, and budget for multiple concurrent workstreams or clients.
  • Working knowledge of PM or ticketing tools (e.g., Jira, Smartsheet, Asana, ServiceNow).
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail when managing several smaller engagements at once.
  • Clear, professional written and verbal communication skills for both client-facing and internal reporting.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • Helpful skills include exposure to AI-enabled tools or workflows in a software delivery or support context and prior experience working within a formal PMO structure alongside Sales/Account teams.

What this role involves

Who we are

Samsara (NYSE: IOT) is the pioneer of the Connected Operations™ Cloud, which is a platform that enables organizations that depend on physical operations to harness Internet of Things (IoT) data to develop actionable insights and improve their operations. At Samsara, we are helping improve the safety, efficiency and sustainability of the physical operations that power our global economy. Representing more than 40% of global GDP, these industries are the infrastructure of our planet, including agriculture, construction, field services, transportation, and manufacturing — and we are excited to help digitally transform their operations at scale.

Working at Samsara means you’ll help define the future of physical operations and be on a team that’s shaping an exciting array of product solutions, including Video-Based Safety, Vehicle Telematics, Apps and Driver Workflows, and Equipment Monitoring. As part of a recently public company, you’ll have the autonomy and support to make an impact as we build for the long term.

About the role:

Samsara is looking for an experienced Engineering Manager to lead our Core Infrastructure team. This team builds and operates the foundational compute, networking, storage, and cloud systems behind Samsara’s products. Core Infrastructure is central to the availability, scalability, security, and efficiency of our platform.

This role combines technical and people leadership to evolve Samsara’s infrastructure at scale, supporting a platform that processes more than 25 trillion data points annually. You will guide infrastructure strategy and modernization, improve reliability and operational health, and enable product teams to move faster through automation and self-service capabilities.

As a manager, you’ll lead a globally distributed team, develop senior engineers, and create clear ownership across critical infrastructure domains. You’ll work closely with engineering and security leaders across Samsara to build the infrastructure required for the company’s continued growth.

This is a remote position open to candidates residing in the US.

You should apply if:

  • You want to impact the industries that run our world: The software, firmware, and hardware you build will result in real-world impact – helping to keep the lights on, get food into grocery stores, and most importantly, ensure workers return home safely.
  • You are a life-long learner: We have ambitious goals. Every Samsarian has a growth mindset as we work with a wide range of technologies, challenges, and customers that push us to learn on the go.
  • You believe customers are more than a number: Samsara engineers enjoy a rare closeness to the end user and you will have the opportunity to participate in customer interviews, collaborate with customer success and product managers, and use metrics to ensure our work is translating into better customer outcomes.
  • You are a team player: Working on our Samsara Engineering teams requires a mix of independent effort and collaboration. Motivated by our mission, we’re all racing toward our connected operations vision, and we intend to win – together.

In this role, you will:

  • Lead, coach, and develop a globally distributed Core Infrastructure team, raising performance, establishing clear ownership, and creating leverage through senior ICs and technical leads.
  • Own technical strategy and translate it into an integrated roadmap across compute, networking, storage, infrastructure control planes, reliability, and cloud efficiency.
  • Improve operational health by strengthening capacity management, failure isolation, observability, safe rollouts, incident learning, and sustainable on-call practices.
  • Build paved paths, automation, and self-service infrastructure that help engineering teams move faster, safely, and reliably.
  • Apply AI-enabled tools and workflows thoughtfully to improve engineering execution, operational analysis, and toil reduction.
  • Champion, role model, and embed Samsara’s cultural principles (Focus on Customer Success, Build for the Long Term, Adopt a Growth Mindset, Be Inclusive, Win as a Team) as we scale globally and across new offices
  • Hire, develop and lead an inclusive, engaged, and high performing team

Minimum requirements for the role:

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
  • 8+ years of relevant software engineering experience, including 2+ years directly managing software or infrastructure engineers.
  • Experience leading, developing, and raising the performance of an established engineering team.
  • A strong technical background in production infrastructure, cloud platforms, or distributed systems at scale.
  • A track record of leading complex technical initiatives and translating strategy into measurable results.
  • Strong communication, technical judgment, and the ability to create alignment across teams.

An ideal candidate also has:

  • Experience leading infrastructure for a large-scale cloud or distributed platform.
  • Experience with multi-region public cloud, container orchestration, and declarative infrastructure.
  • Led major modernization, reliability, disaster-recovery, or cloud-efficiency initiatives.

This is a remote opportunity and we would be interested in applicants from USA in EST time zones only at this time.

Senior Engineering Manager, Grafana Frontend

The Opportunity:

Grafana is an open-source observability product and a platform that teams and plugin developers build on. The Frontend group shapes its user experience (from dashboards and visualisation to navigation, search and sharing) and the foundations that support engineering teams and community contributors across the Grafana ecosystem.

As Senior Engineering Manager, you’ll lead the Frontend Platform and Navigation squads, owning their performance, delivery and customer outcomes. Frontend Platform enables teams to build reliable, high-quality experiences; Navigation helps users find and organise resources and move confidently through Grafana.

You’ll develop senior engineers, partner with Product and Design, and improve how teams work, including through AI and automation. We use Cloud-first rollout and experimentation to learn quickly, bringing relevant improvements to OSS and Enterprise.

AI Notice: We invest heavily in developer productivity. You can use modern AI coding assistants as part of your daily workflow (your choice of tools, within security guidelines), backed by a company-funded usage budget so you can iterate quickly without unnecessary friction. We encourage pragmatic AI-assisted development: faster prototyping, test generation, refactors, documentation, and incident follow-ups—always with strong code review and quality standards. You’ll also have access to the latest frontier models from OpenAI, Anthropic, and Google.

What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Be accountable for the performance of two distributed engineering squads: set clear expectations, delegate effectively, coach and develop each team member, give timely feedback, address performance gaps and build a culture of trust and accountability.
  • Own hiring and team planning across both squads, aligning team capacity and skills with product priorities and longer-term needs.
  • Lead discovery with your squads: engage directly with customers, community members and internal users, combine their feedback with research and usage evidence, and use those insights to shape roadmaps and priorities.
  • Partner with Product, Design and engineering leaders to set priorities, resolve dependencies and make trade-offs between customer needs, long-term investments and operational demands.
  • Own delivery across both squads from discovery through rollout and measurement: set milestones, surface risks early and intervene when commitments are at risk.
  • Use AI regularly in your management work to synthesise research and feedback, inform roadmap and resourcing decisions, and streamline coordination, reporting and follow-through.
  • Improve how the squads plan, make decisions and deliver. Lead the adoption of AI and automation across engineering and operational workflows, evaluating their impact on delivery speed, quality and time spent on repetitive work.
  • Set engineering direction with senior engineers for the frontend foundations owned by your squads, including developer experience, accessibility, architecture, tooling, reliability and multitenant capabilities.
  • Set engineering direction for navigation, search and resource organisation, including where AI-assisted discovery can help users find what they need.
  • Set and uphold engineering standards for quality, security and operability, including how teams evaluate and validate AI-assisted work.
  • Lead improvements across Grafana and R&D that increase engineering productivity and improve business outcomes.
  • Participate in the engineering management on-call rota, coordinate responses and drive improvements that reduce recurring disruption. Regularly use Grafana’s AI capabilities for observability, incident investigation and management, bringing that experience into product feedback and roadmap decisions.

What Makes You a Great Fit

  • Significant experience managing senior engineers, building healthy teams and developing technical leaders. You give clear feedback and address performance gaps directly and fairly.
  • A strong technical foundation in modern web or frontend systems, enabling you to evaluate technical trade-offs and shape architectural and engineering-quality decisions with senior engineers.
  • A track record of turning ambiguous, cross-team problems into clear priorities and measurable results, managing delivery risks and operational demands.
  • Strong product and customer judgement, with the ability to connect engineering investments to user, developer and business outcomes.
  • Clear, concise written communication and the ability to work effectively in a remote, globally distributed organisation.
  • An appreciation for open-source development and the judgement to balance Cloud-first delivery with the needs of customers, community members and internal teams.
  • Practical experience using AI and automation in your own leadership work, and leading teams to adopt them effectively.

Bonus Points For

  • Experience with React, TypeScript or comparable large-scale frontend ecosystems.
  • Experience leading a developer platform team, including support for plugins or extensions.
  • Experience with navigation, search, information architecture or resource-management products.
  • Experience delivering multitenant SaaS or major platform migrations.
  • Experience working on a widely adopted open-source product.
