About the position

As machine identities multiply, cryptographic risk rises, and AI and quantum computing reshape the market, continued leadership requires a clear understanding of where customer needs are headed and how Keyfactor can win.

Keyfactor is looking for a Director of Product Marketing to help shape product strategy and drive the market success of our solutions.

Reporting to the Vice President of Product & Customer Marketing, you will lead and develop a team of product marketers and serve as a strategic counterpart to Product and GTM leadership. This role is for a leader who can move fluently between customer conversations, product and business strategy, technical subject matter, and commercial execution.

Applicants must be legally authorized to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Partner with Product leadership throughout the product development lifecycle, using customer research, market evidence, and commercial insight to influence roadmap priorities and investment decisions.

• Develop differentiated positioning and messaging that makes complex technical capabilities relevant to enterprise buyers and connects individual products to the Keyfactor Trust Control Plane.

• Build and develop a high-performing product marketing team with strong customer orientation, market fluency, product partnership, commercial judgment, and accountability.

Skills and Qualification

• 8+ years of experience in B2B enterprise product marketing, including leadership responsibility for complex, highly technical, or multi-product solutions.

• Demonstrated ability to influence product strategy and roadmap decisions through customer insight, market evidence, competitive intelligence, and commercial judgment.

• Proven success translating technical capabilities into differentiated positioning and leading go-to-market strategy from market validation through launch, adoption, and optimization.

• Strong business acumen and experience in sales-led enterprise environments, using pipeline, adoption, win-loss, and market data to assess performance and identify growth opportunities.

• Track record of building and developing high-performing product marketing teams and increasing the strategic impact of the function.

• Strong cross-functional leadership skills, with the ability to align Product, Sales, Marketing, and Customer Success and drive decisions without direct authority.

• Exceptional research, writing, communication, and presentation skills.

• Experience in cybersecurity, identity, cryptography, cloud infrastructure, or another technical enterprise software category is a significant advantage.

Marketing CRO Marketing Manager - Web (Remote, Contract) at Huckleberry

Owns web conversion and experimentation, optimizing the full funnel through testing, interactive tools, AI-driven systems, and cross-functional marketing partnerships.

Mid Remote Posted about 4 hours ago RemoteFirstJobs Product
What this role involves

About Huckleberry

At Huckleberry, our purpose is simple yet powerful: to build life-changing products and experiences that help all families unlock everyday magic.

Today, more than 6.5 million families trust Huckleberry and our app to be their partner through parenthood. Real pediatric expertise works hand-in-hand with data science, AI, and behavioral science to provide support behind-the-scenes that guides every parent through their unique journey.

We believe every family should feel taken care of—which is why we’re growing quickly and expanding our product offerings to help every family thrive.

About the Role

We are hiring a Marketing Manager - Web to own conversion across Huckleberry’s web experience — from the first visit through app install, free trial, and purchase.  This is a 6 month, 40 hours per week, 1099 contract position.

You’ll carry your own web conversion target that rolls up into our broader user acquisition goal, and you’ll own the experimentation program that moves it. The work spans further than most CRO roles. You’ll write build specs for interactive web tools, partner with our Guidance team to make sure anything we tell a parent is clinically sound, and build AI-driven systems that let a small team run a testing cadence that would otherwise take several people.

This role reports to the VP of Marketing on an interim basis and is expected to move under the Senior Director of User Acquisition and Growth once that role is filled. You’ll work closely with Brand Editorial, Guidance, Engineering, Lifecycle Marketing, Partnerships, and User Acquisition.

Areas of Responsibility

Web Conversion & Experimentation

  • Target Ownership: Own a web conversion target that rolls up into our broader user acquisition goal, expressed as either acquisition or revenue depending on current company priority. When that expression changes, you re-point the roadmap without losing program continuity.

  • Full Funnel Optimization: Drive conversion across the entire web path — blog and promo units, landing pages, account creation, checkout, pricing, and paywall. Marketing surfaces and product surfaces both count.

  • Experimentation Program: Operate and extend an established testing program, including a weekly promo-unit copy testing cadence with defined scoring, prioritization, and readout standards. Write test plans, define metrics, set call conditions, and maintain the roadmap and tracker as the source of truth.

  • Readouts: Deliver performance updates and test readouts to marketing leadership, publish quarterly web priorities, and contribute web reporting to executive and board updates.

Interactive Web Experiences

  • Concept to Spec: Conceive, impact-size, and scope interactive web experiences — calculators, quizzes, guided recommendations — that demonstrate product value before signup. Write the engineering build specs: input and output logic, edge cases, handoff behavior, and event instrumentation.

  • Clinical Guardrails: Anything that returns guidance to a parent requires Guidance team partnership by default. You’ll work with them to set the thresholds and logic behind each tool, source recommendations to recognized pediatric guidelines, and make sure a “not yet” result lands supportively.

  • Monetization Discipline: Surface scope and monetization risks early and drive them to a decision — including recommending against builds that would give away a paid in-app mechanic.

Systems, Data & Automation

  • AI-Built Systems: Our testing cadence runs at this scale because the recurring work is built into AI-driven systems. You’ll maintain and extend those systems, and build new ones — with documented logic, edge-case handling, state tracking across runs, and human approval gates wherever judgment is required.

  • Measurement: Partner with Business Analytics to shape how web performance is instrumented and reported. Specify event instrumentation for new experiences, validate it lands, and flag when an existing metric is unfit for its purpose.

  • Source of Truth: Keep content taxonomy in Contentful aligned with downstream reporting so subcategory performance data stays trustworthy.

  • Documentation: Set and document web optimization and A/B testing standards, and make them usable by partner teams through reusable systems.

Cross-Functional Partnership

  • Web Scoping Partner: Lead web projects end-to-end, and serve as the web scoping partner on projects led by other teams — including commerce and partnership integrations, where you define ownership boundaries and downstream flow requirements before build.

  • Strategic Consultation: Be consulted at scoping on initiatives affecting web performance. Represent web conversion in the weekly cross-functional User Acquisition sync.

Requirements

  • Experience: 5+ years in conversion rate optimization, web growth, or experimentation

  • Owned a Number: You’ve carried a conversion, acquisition, or revenue target yourself and can point to before/after results

  • Experimentation Depth: Hands-on building, launching, and reading out A/B and multivariate tests on a testing platform

  • Analytical Depth: You can define metrics, specify event instrumentation, spot measurement that’s quietly misleading, and work with structured data and APIs without needing engineering for routine work

  • Builds With AI: Demonstrated experience building working systems with AI tooling. You should be able to describe a recurring process you turned into a reliable system, how you handled failure cases, and where you deliberately kept a human in the loop

  • Technical Partnership: Can write clear specs for engineering and hold their own in a scoping conversation

  • Judgment on Accuracy: Recognizes when content or a tool output needs clinical review, and routes it to experts

  • Writing: Strong writing with a lens toward product positioning and placement

Nice to have

  • Experience with Contentful, Amplitude (Analytics and Web Experiments), Google Analytics, or AppsFlyer

  • Hands-on experience with Claude Code or comparable agentic AI tooling, including building reusable skills or workflows

  • Experience in parenting, family wellness, or consumer health — and with the sourcing standards clinically-informed content requires

  • Subscription or freemium monetization experience: free trial, paywall, pricing

$50 - $65 an hour

Marketing Managing Consultant, MarTech (EMEA) at McGaw

Owns MarTech client engagements, develops growth and automation strategies, leads technical delivery, manages accounts, and supports business development.

Lead Remote Posted about 4 hours ago RemoteFirstJobs Product
What this role involves

Managing Consultant, MarTech (EMEA)

Location: Remote. Continental Europe or compatible time zone preferred. (roughly UTC-1 to UTC+3)

Clients: Global. Primarily EMEA and North American.

Employment: Full time contractor, engaged directly. This is our standard outside the US.

Reports to: VP of Solutions

Salary Range: $70,000 - $125,000 USD annually, plus bonus/commission based on growth of client accounts. Compensation dependent on candidate experience and location.

About McGaw

Our Mission at McGaw.io is to help companies of all sizes realize their customer data is their most valuable business asset, and we help them realize that through customer data infrastructure, high power analytics, marketing automation, personalization, and funnel optimization.

McGaw.io supports businesses with analytics, marketing automation, customer data platforms, data piping, websites, AB testing, and all sorts of marketing operations. As we derive insights from these technical efforts, we also inform & execute growth strategies that routinely move the needle for our clients.

Our track record is impeccable, and our leadership has supported some of the fastest-growing companies in the world. McGaw.io’s core client base sells online and has complex data and marketing practices that drive our team to dig deeper every day.

Mission

Own client engagements end to end. Hold the relationship, set the strategy, design the solution, and deliver it with a team you direct. Grow the accounts you hold and help win the next ones.

Why this role exists

This is a player-coach hybrid. Splitting a senior consultant into a strategist and a technical lead costs more than it saves, and the accounts that need both do not respect the split anyway.

This person is credible in a CMO’s office and credible in a CDP workspace. They present a roadmap on Tuesday and debug identity resolution on Wednesday.

Three problems this role solves:

  1. Clients get relationship coverage and technical coverage from different people, and outside North America, at the wrong hour.
  2. Expansion happens late, because the person who sees the opportunity cannot price it.
  3. Pre-sales competes with delivery for the same few senior people.

Responsibilities

Account ownership

  • Own the relationship. You are the primary contact and the person an executive calls when they are unhappy.
  • Run the cadence: biweekly client meetings, monthly roadmap and SOW reviews, quarterly business reviews.
  • Keep three or more months of planned work on the roadmap for every account.
  • Protect the budget. Flag pacing, overages, and under-use as soon as the trend appears.

Strategy

  • Find where the client’s revenue leaks across acquisition, conversion, and retention. Tie every recommendation to a metric and a business outcome.
  • Build growth roadmaps with the client, not at them.
  • Show what moving to a stage of maturity is worth to them.

Technical leadership and hands-on work

  • Design the stack architecture: CDP, analytics, lifecycle messaging, warehouse, and the integrations between them.
  • Do the strategic hands-on work yourself: taxonomy design, measurement plans, attribution modeling, segmentation logic, QA of critical builds.
  • Direct engineers and contract developers. Review their work before it reaches the client.
  • Delegate on purpose. Your time is worth more on strategy than on tag deployment. Know where that line sits on each account.

New business

  • Supports some pre-sales discovery to identify opportunities and needs.
  • Build the proposal: scope, phasing, level of effort, and the business case. Present it live. We do not send proposals cold.
  • Price work so it stays profitable. An accurate estimate beats a heroic recovery in month four.
  • Support the Sales team through the close, and take the account into delivery where it makes sense.

Commercial

  • Every scope change gets estimated, documented, and confirmed in writing before work starts.
  • Drive expansion on your portfolio. You are measured on it.

Skills and experience

Required

  • Fully fluent in English. That is the company’s working language.
  • 8+ years in consulting, agency, or professional services. At least 4 owning client relationships directly.
  • Understand the full marketing lifecycle: demand generation, nurturing, acquisition, retention, and growth. You can tell a client which stage is costing them money, and why.
  • Understand how martech drives marketing, from ads to CDPs to marketing engagement platforms, CRM, and analytics.
  • Advise on the systems below, not just use them. Which tool fits, how the pieces connect, what each costs to run badly, and how to get more from what a client already owns. High-level familiarity is not enough here.
  • Review a funnel report, a cohort, and an attribution model, and challenge what they claim.
  • Track record retaining and growing accounts, with numbers you can describe.
  • Pre-sales experience: discovery, scoping, and proposals you then delivered against.
  • GDPR and consent handled as part of the work.

Systems. Depth in at least three groups, working familiarity with the rest.

  • Customer data platforms: Segment, Hightouch, RudderStack
  • Analytics: Amplitude, Mixpanel, GA4
  • Lifecycle and marketing automation: Braze, Customer.io, HubSpot, Marketo, Iterable
  • Warehouse and transformation: Snowflake, BigQuery, dbt
  • Tag management: Google Tag Manager, server-side GTM
  • CRM: Salesforce, HubSpot
  • Consent management: OneTrust, Cookiebot, Didomi

Preferred

  • Multilingual with professional working proficiency in English as well as German, French, Spanish, or Italian.
  • Engagements across multiple countries or regulatory regimes.
  • Work across both European and North American clients.

What you get out of this

  • Many stacks in a year instead of one stack in five. Different industries, scale, and failure modes.
  • The customer data layer is changing right now. Warehouse-native patterns, composable CDPs, and reverse ETL are replacing a decade of assumptions. You build on the new pattern.
  • We work across the full client stack, not just individual systems or specific vendors. You see how it all fits together, which is where the hard problems are visible.
  • You own the full commercial arc of an account, from discovery through renewal. At a larger firm that is three people’s jobs.
  • Both the European and North American markets from one seat.

Observable indicators

Month 2

  • Onboarded onto your accounts and current on every tool in their stacks.
  • Time tracked in Harvest weekly, without reminders.
  • Every account has a current-state assessment and named client objectives.

Month 4

  • Running your accounts independently: meetings, roadmap reviews, scope conversations.
  • Every account has three or more months of planned roadmap.
  • Zero undocumented scope changes.
  • Labor efficiency ratio of 2.5 or better across your portfolio.
  • Contributing scope and estimates to proposals.

Month 6

  • 90% of client objectives hit within the project timeline.
  • Client approval for a case study or testimonial on at least one account.
  • Labor efficiency ratio of 3.0 across your portfolio.
  • Running discovery and writing proposals end to end.

Month 9

  • 80% retention of your accounts in recurring contracts over a rolling three months.
  • One account expanded in scope or revenue, sourced and priced by you.
  • Your proposals deliver at or above target labor efficiency. Your estimates hold up.

What this role is not

  • Not a pure strategy seat. You will be in the tools. If you have not touched an implementation in three years, this will not go well.
  • Not a pure technical seat. About half your week is relationship, strategy, and commercial work.
  • Not a prospecting seat. You run discovery, write proposals, own expansion, and earn commission on it. You do not cold prospect.
  • Not a management seat at hire. You direct a project team. Direct reports come later, if the business grows and you have shown you can.

Values

  • Never Settle, Be Amazing. Fix it properly, not just enough to close the ticket.
  • Get Better Every Day. Ask for feedback and change what you do when you get it.
  • Give Context and Set the Stage. Nobody on your account is surprised by what you already knew.
  • Let the Data Create Transparency. Recommendations come with evidence. So does bad news.
  • Show Hospitality to Build Trust. Clients and teammates get proactive, responsive treatment.

Plus extreme ownership. Own the outcome, surface blockers early, and never hand a problem back to the person who gave it to you.

Benefits

Engaged as a full time contractor. These follow our current international contractor terms.

  • Flexible PTO
  • Flexible hours
  • Work remotely
  • Monthly per diem for premium health, dental, and vision coverage if not already available
  • Maternity and paternity leave
  • Retirement contribution of 3% of salary annually.
  • Company laptop, monitor, and remote setup equipment
  • National holidays off.
  • Radically transparent workplace
  • Room to act on your own ideas

The job in practice

McGaw is a customer data and revenue operations consultancy. Clients come to us with traffic, tools, and data, and no system connecting them. We find where revenue leaks across acquisition, conversion, and retention, then we fix it with our hands on the keyboards.

The CDP is the center of most of our work. We build on Segment, Hightouch, and RudderStack, chosen per client. We work across the full client stack, not just individual systems or specific vendors.

Our clients are in North America and Europe. Your portfolio will be a mix.

Month 1. Learn our clients, cadence, and tooling. Shadow live accounts on both the client and technical sides. Sit in on pre-sales calls. Start owning one account.

Months 2 and 3. Take full ownership of your first accounts. Run the meetings, build the roadmaps, direct the build. An experienced account owner stays close.

Months 4 to 6. Run your portfolio independently. Hit your labor efficiency target. Start running discovery and writing proposals.

After 6 months. You own the commercial and delivery arc on your accounts, from first discovery call through renewal. New hires learn from you.

What is hard. The role spans two jobs and will pull you both ways in the same week. Pre-sales competes with delivery, and both are urgent. Work is billable by the hour, so time tracking is not optional. A portfolio across two continents splits your day in half.

What this role involves

CANDIDATE MUST BE BASED IN SOUTH AFRICA

  • Are you an SEO expert ready to step up and manage your own portfolio of 3 to 4 international clients?
  • Do you get a buzz from developing clever SEO strategies that drive real growth in revenue for your clients?
  • Do you love presenting your ideas, leading client meetings, and building great relationships along the way?
  • And do you want to do it all at an agency that truly values your well-being, trusts you to manage your time, and gives you the flexibility to work how you work best?

We are looking for an incredibly curious individual who knows that AI is fundamentally changing search behaviour, as well as changing the fundamentals of how businesses operate!

We need your help to progress our journey in becoming one of the first fully accredited Claude partners in South Africa.

The position is fully remote, with flexible hours, but operates mainly during South African business hours.

Within the context of using AI for all our processes, your responsibilities will include:

  1. Client Ownership: Be the go-to person for your clients. Take full ownership of your clients’ SEO performance by leading Zoom calls, sending thoughtful emails, and ensuring clients understand exactly how we’re helping them grow their revenue.
  2. Strategy & Execution: Develop clever, revenue-focused SEO strategies that align with client goals; then direct the monthly work plan to ensure we’re driving revenue growth.
  3. Client Communication: Lead engaging client meetings (mostly via Zoom), simplify the complex, and deliver clear, actionable insights that make clients feel like their SEO is in safe hands.
  4. On-page & E-E-A-T specialist: Deep, demonstrable expertise in E-E-A-T and on-page optimisation. You need to really know this stuff, not just define E-E-A-T in an interview, but show us where you’ve applied on-page strategies in the past.
  5. Reporting & Analysis: Produce insight-driven monthly reports that go beyond data dumps, pulling out meaningful insights, wins, and next steps using tools like GA4, GSC, Accuranker and Looker Studio.

The “must-haves”:

  1. Minimum of 3 years’ dedicated agency experience specialising in SEO
  2. Minimum of 3 client SEO case studies you can share with us
  3. A university degree

The “nice-to-haves”:

  1. Share clever ways you’re already using AI to get better quality (or more efficient) SEO results
  2. A working knowledge of Accuranker (or similar), Screaming Frog, Google Tag Manager & HTML code.
  3. You’re learning-obsessed and can show recently completed learning courses.

Remuneration:

As the experience for this role can vary widely, the salary range is quite broad. R30,000 to R45,000 CTC. Other benefits include:

  • 20 days’ annual leave;
  • Fully remote (but operating on South African business hours);
  • Flexible hours;
  • Birthday off (no one should work on their b’day).

A little more about CleverClicks:

We’re a digital marketing team of ten people primarily based in South Africa, with clients all over the world. We offer SEO, Google Ads, and UX work, all with one focus: to increase our clients’ revenue.

We operate under two brands: CleverClicks Digital focuses primarily on health care; and Adventure Travel Digital focuses on multi-day adventure tour operators. We were established in 2007, and all our clients are international.

The most unique thing about us is our culture.

At the center of that, is a focus on individuals’ well-being and the ability to be very flexible with their schedule.

Gym at 11am? Yoga at 3pm? Offline in the afternoon to take care of some personal or family business? No problem. Just let the team know.

So what do you think?

Are we floating your boat?

Just do it!

Marketing Marketing Manager, Campaigns at Evergreen Nephrology

Manages healthcare marketing campaigns from planning and asset development through launch, reporting, optimization, and partner customization.

Mid Remote Posted 1 day ago RemoteFirstJobs Product
What this role involves

Who We Are

Evergreen Nephrology partners with nephrologists to transform kidney care through a value-based, person-centered, holistic, and comprehensive approach to kidney care. We believe patients living with kidney disease deserve the best care. We are committed to improving patient outcomes and improving quality of life by delaying disease progression, shifting care to the home, and accelerating kidney transplants.

We help nephrologists focus on the right patients at the right time across the full care spectrum. We do this by providing them with the best-in-class interdisciplinary clinical resources, analytical insight and tools, and services to patients. We listen to the needs of our patients, our employees, and our client partners, continually working to push beyond the status quo in which the care system manages patients today.

Who You Are

You are devoted, compassionate, and enjoy being on the front lines of healthcare, changing the lives of patients by supporting them and the team by focusing on customers. You’re excited about being part of a team that is building a healthcare delivery model that ensures the highest possible quality of life and best outcomes for those in our care. You believe people living with kidney disease deserve the best person-centered, holistic, comprehensive care and want to influence the healthcare system to drive towards that. You thrive in innovative and evolving environments with high rates of change.

Your Role

As a Marketing Manager, Campaigns with Evergreen Nephrology reporting to the Marketing Director, you are responsible for managing the day-to-day execution of patient engagement, quality, partner marketing, and program launch campaigns. This role will provide dedicated campaign ownership across planning, asset development, partner customization, reviews, approvals, testing, launch readiness, deployment, reporting, and ongoing optimization.

This is intended as a contract role with an initial 6-month term and the ability to extend based on business need, campaign volume, 2027 planning requirements, and performance. A 6-month term is recommended because it is long enough to support near-term campaign launches, onboarding, operational stabilization, new program planning, and the development of repeatable marketing operations processes, while still preserving flexibility as longer-term staffing needs become clearer.

While this position is fully remote, you must be able to work 8:30am – 5pm in the Central or Eastern, with flexibility to support partner, vendor, and cross-functional meetings across U.S. time zones as needed.

Role Responsibilities

  • Manage the development, coordination, and launch of patient engagement, quality, partner marketing, and program campaigns.
  • Own campaign project plans, timelines, launch checklists, status tracking, dependencies, and cross-functional coordination.
  • Coordinate campaign requirements across Marketing, Clinical Operations, Growth, Technology, Data, Compliance, vendors, and Market Operations.
  • Support implementation and ongoing execution of patient engagement campaigns, including Evergreen-branded and white-labeled campaign versions where applicable.
  • Support top of funnel and engagement campaigns and other patient-facing communication workflows.
  • Develop, adapt, and maintain campaign assets, patient and provider materials, partner launch materials, email and SMS copy, website content, and related marketing collateral.
  • Customize materials and launch workflows for new patient programs.
  • Coordinate review, approval, compliance, testing, deployment, and launch readiness processes for campaign and program materials.
  • Maintain campaign calendars, asset libraries, project trackers, templates, and repeatable operating processes.
  • Support campaign reporting, performance review, documentation of lessons learned, and identification of optimization opportunities.
  • Manage routine marketing requests related to patient materials, provider materials, website updates, company intranet, and emerging program needs.
  • Other duties consistent with this role, as assigned.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, business, healthcare administration, or a related field; equivalent experience may be considered.
  • 4+ years of experience in marketing, campaign management, marketing operations, partner marketing, healthcare marketing, or a related role.
  • Demonstrated experience managing multiple campaigns or cross-functional projects from planning through launch and post-launch support.
  • Strong project management, stakeholder coordination, writing, editing, organization, and attention-to-detail skills.
  • Experience developing or coordinating patient, provider, partner, digital, email, SMS, or multi-channel marketing materials.
  • Comfort operating in a fast-paced, remote, cross-functional environment with evolving priorities and manual or developing campaign infrastructure.
  • Intermediate skills with MS Office Suite of products including Outlook and Teams
  • Able to work effectively in a remote environment:
    • Home internet must support a minimum download speed of 25 Mbps and upload speed of 10 Mbps. Cable, Fiber, or DSL connections hardwired to the internet device are recommended
    • Evergreen will provide remote employees with telephony applications and equipment to meet the business requirements for their role
    • Employees must work from a dedicated space lacking ongoing interruptions to protect member PHI / HIPAA information

Preferred Qualifications

  • Healthcare, value-based care, kidney care, patient engagement, regulated-content, or partner-customized marketing experience.
  • Experience with campaign management platforms, CRM tools, marketing automation, SMS/email deployment, project management tools, content management systems, or analytics/reporting tools.
  • Experience creating repeatable templates, launch playbooks, campaign calendars, asset libraries, or marketing operations processes.

Compensation

The base salary pay range for this contract role is $110,000-$120,000 annually, prorated based on the term of employment. Exact pay is determined based on experience, education, and other role-specific factors.

Benefits

Evergreen Nephrology’s total rewards program is designed to support you in and outside of work. You can expect:

  • 12 paid holidays per year
  • Medical, dental, vision and life insurance, including an HSA with employer match
  • Reimbursement for continuing medical education for eligible roles
  • A 401(k) program where Evergreen matches up to 4% of contributions after six months of tenure
  • Paid parental leave
  • A robust training and development program that starts with onboarding and continues throughout your career with Evergreen Nephrology

Plans, writes, builds, automates, reports on, and optimizes client email campaigns using Mailchimp and Salesforce.

Mid Remote Posted 2 days ago RemoteFirstJobs Product
What this role involves

Email Marketing Specialist (Contract, part time)

Contract Engagement, US (Remote)

We’re looking for a hands-on Email Marketing Specialist to work closely with a client’s team to plan, write, build, and automate their email program, covering everything from a single nurture sequence to a full lifecycle journey.

Position Summary

This contract role supports one client’s email marketing program as part of a Nimble Gravity engagement. The Email Marketing Specialist manages email campaign development and execution, combining strategic thinking with hands-on production. You’ll write copy, build campaigns, set up automations, report on results, and use those insights to improve the next send.

You’re comfortable working directly with clients to understand their goals, and you know how to translate those goals into email strategy, content, and sequencing that gets results. You have real experience building and launching campaigns in Mailchimp, and enough familiarity with Salesforce to help route and enroll leads into the right journeys.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Client Engagement

  • Partner directly with the client’s marketing team to understand goals, audiences, and campaign priorities.

  • Translate the client’s business objectives into clear email marketing strategy and recommendations.

  • Present campaign plans, timelines, and performance results to the client in a clear, confident way.

Email Campaign Development

  • Write and edit email copy, including subject lines, body content, and calls to action, that’s on-brand and built to convert.

  • Design B2B email sequencing and journey logic for a variety of email campaigns, from lead generation to nurture campaigns.

  • Plan multi-touch campaigns that coordinate timing, messaging, and audience segments across a sequence.

  • Ensure every campaign reflects the client’s brand voice, messaging, and standards.

Email Execution & Automation

  • Build, test, QA, and launch email campaigns in Mailchimp, from single sends to multi-step automations.

  • Set up and manage automation workflows and triggers.

  • Build and maintain audience segments and list hygiene to keep targeting sharp and deliverability strong.

  • Configure and manage the enrollment of leads into specific campaigns and journeys, coordinating with Salesforce data, lead status and routing.

  • Monitor sending best practices, compliance (CAN-SPAM, GDPR where applicable), and deliverability health.

Reporting & Optimization

  • Track and report on opens, clicks, conversions, and campaign-level performance.

  • Run A/B tests on subject lines, content, send times, and sequencing to continuously improve results.

  • Turn performance data into clear takeaways and recommendations for the client.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • 2 to 4 years of experience in email marketing, marketing automation, or a related field.

  • Hands-on experience building, testing, and launching campaigns in Mailchimp is required.

  • Familiarity with Salesforce, or a similar CRM, for lead management and campaign enrollment.

  • Strong copywriting skills, with an ear for tone, clarity, and calls to action that convert.

  • Experience building nurture sequences, drip campaigns, or lifecycle journeys.

  • Comfortable working directly with client stakeholders and communicating clearly under deadline.

  • Working knowledge of segmentation, list management, and email automation logic.

  • Understanding of email deliverability fundamentals, A/B testing, and performance reporting.

  • Available to commit contract hours for the duration of the engagement.

SUCCESS IN THIS ROLE

You’ll be successful if you:

  • Bring meticulous attention to detail. Every send is proofed, tested, and QA’d before it goes out, and typos and broken links never ship on your watch.

  • Own email campaigns end to end, from strategy and copy through build, launch, and automation.

  • Build a strong working relationship with the client’s team.

  • Deliver polished, on-brand campaigns on time, with minimal rework.

  • Use data to sharpen targeting, content, and sequencing over time.

WHO YOU ARE

  • You’re a doer. You enjoy bringing structure to moving pieces, keeping projects on track, and helping teams execute great ideas. You’re naturally curious, collaborative, and dependable, and you’re willing to jump in wherever needed.

  • You don’t wait to be told every next step. You anticipate needs, communicate proactively, and take pride in delivering work that helps the business grow.

Marketing Social Media Manager at Darkroom

Manages organic social strategy, content calendars, creative execution, community engagement, and client relationships across multiple accounts.

Mid Remote Posted 2 days ago RemoteFirstJobs Product
What this role involves

About Darkroom

Darkroom is the leading next-generation growth marketing firm engineering the brands of tomorrow. Founded in 2017, we set out to redefine what a modern agency could be, by replacing the inertia of legacy advertising behemoths with a model built for speed, intelligence, and measurable impact.

At our core, Darkroom is a human services company powered by Shadow, a universal AI commerce layer that integrates executive-level strategy with proprietary agentic technology. This fusion enables our teams to deliver outsized returns by enhancing creative output, operational efficiency, and revenue generation across every stage of the customer journey.

Our track record speaks for itself: billions in attributable revenue driven across e-commerce marketplaces, media networks, DTC ecosystems, and social commerce platforms. Every engagement feeds into our proprietary data infrastructure, enabling a continuous feedback loop that accelerates growth, improves margins, and compounds results across our client portfolio.

What began as a boutique design studio has evolved into one of the fastest-growing private companies in America (Inc. 5000) and among the most effective performance media agencies of the 2020s (Varos). Our founders were recognized by Forbes 30 Under 30 for advancing the intersection of technology, marketing, and advertising, cementing Darkroom’s role as a defining player in the future of media innovation.

About the Role

We’re looking for a Social Media Manager to own day-to-day social strategy and execution across a portfolio of client accounts. You live inside culture and platforms — you know what’s working, why it’s working, and how to translate that into a content calendar that builds real communities, not just posting schedules. You’re equally comfortable briefing in a creative team, jumping into the comments to manage community, and sitting across from a client explaining why a strategy shift makes sense.

You’ll work closely with Associate Directors and Directors of Creative Strategy to build out the social calendar, brief creative execution that feels inventive rather than templated, and manage the client relationship day to day — all while keeping the account organized and operating smoothly.

This is a fully remote role supporting a team in the EST time zone (9 AM–5 PM EST).

What You’ll Do

  • Manage day-to-day creative execution for organic social programs across a portfolio of client accounts

  • Partner with the Director of Creative Strategy to build out the social media calendar and plan

  • Brief and direct Designers and Editors on inventive, culturally-relevant statics, motion, video, carousels, and Stories, giving clear, actionable feedback on hooks, pacing, and edit structure

  • Lead community management in a way that actively builds community, not just responds to it

  • Write copy for social posts, flexing tone and voice by platform and client

  • Work alongside the creator team on UGC briefs and execution

  • Translate platform and performance data (hook retention, watch time, CTR, engagement rate, saves, follower growth) into clear creative and content direction

  • Maintain quality and consistency across a high volume of social creative output, flagging risk to timelines or scope early

  • Manage the day-to-day client relationship — communication, updates, and expectations

  • Keep the account organized operationally — timelines, deliverables, and workflow

You Should Apply If This Sounds Like You

  • 3+ years of experience building “worlds” on social — brands with a distinct voice and engaged community, not just a content calendar

  • Fluent in social media metrics and know how to read them into decisions

You will work across both brands with day-to-day ownership of two key channels: Your primary channel will be Email & CRM. Planning, designing, building, and sending campaigns and automated flows. Your secondary channel will be Organic content – writing SEO-optimised copy for the websites and supporting our visibility in traditional and AI-powered search. You won’t be expected to run paid media campaigns, but you will need a good understanding of how PPC, Paid Social, and Affiliates work so you can contribute to wider marketing discussions and ensure your channels are coordinated with the broader plan.

What You’ll Be Doing:

Email & CRM

  • Own and manage the promotional calendar across both brands, coordinating campaign timing, offers, and messaging to ensure a consistent and well-planned trading rhythm throughout the year.
  • Plan, design, build, and send email campaigns across both brands, including promotional sends, product launches, and seasonal activity.

  • Design visually engaging, on-brand email templates with strong attention to layout, imagery, and copy.
  • Segment audiences and personalise messaging to improve engagement and conversion.
  • Report on email performance (open rates, CTR, revenue per send, list growth, deliverability) and act on the data to improve results.
  • Keep up to date with email best practice, including deliverability, accessibility, and dark mode rendering.

Organic, SEO & Content

  • Write and publish SEO-optimised content for both websites: blog posts, buying guides, landing pages, and product copy.
  • Identify keyword opportunities and content gaps to support organic growth.
  • Write content with an awareness of how AI and LLM-powered search experiences (e.g. Google AI Overviews, ChatGPT, Claude, Perplexity) surface and reference brand content.
  • Monitor organic performance using Google Search Console, GA4, and tools such as SEMrush.

General

  • Coordinate email and content activity with the wider marketing calendar and any paid campaigns.
  • Support the Growth Director with ad hoc tasks, competitor research, and reporting as needed.
  • Ensure all work is consistent with each brand’s positioning (Nectar as accessible value; DreamCloud as premium luxury).
  • Presenting to key stakeholders regularly.

The responsibilities described above are not exhaustive. You may be asked, from time to time and as reasonably required by business needs, to perform other duties consistent with your skills and role, including work for or on behalf of our related entities. This job description does not constitute a contract of employment and may be modified at any time, subject to applicable law.

Skills & Qualifications

  • 3+ years in digital marketing within a fast-paced DTC, e-commerce, retail, or agency environment; sleep, home, or lifestyle sector experience preferred

  • Strong copywriting skills and working knowledge of SEO (on-page optimisation, keyword research, content planning); SEMrush experience and an interest in AI/LLM search a plus
  • Understanding of how PPC, Paid Social, and Affiliate connect with email and organic channels
  • Comfortable with GA4 and Google Search Console; Shopify/Shopify Plus experience preferred
  • Meticulous attention to detail across copy, design, and data
  • Proactive adopter of new tools and technology
  • Confident presenting to cross-functional stakeholders
  • Self-motivated and organised, able to manage your own workload remotely
