What this role involves

Please Note: This is a Utah-based hybrid position which will require some regular in-office days each week. Additionally, employment with BambooHR is contingent on passing both a background and credit check.

AI at BambooHR

At BambooHR, we’re all about setting people free to do great work, and we believe AI is a powerful partner in that mission. We’re leaning into intelligent tools to streamline our workflows, giving us more time for high-impact innovation. We look for curious, forward-thinking people who are ready to explore how AI can elevate their work and help us reimagine the future of HR.

Essential Job Duties

Digital Customer Education Specialist, Premium & Paid Programs independently designs and delivers premium and paid HR education experiences — including certification programs, cohorts, workshops, learning labs, LMS courses, and short-form digital education. This role builds depth across HR practice areas such as compliance, performance management, and AI fluency and AI workforce strategy, partnering with subject-matter experts to translate expert knowledge and research into clear, actionable learning that helps customers adopt BambooHR and become more self-sufficient. The Specialist II uses AI across research, drafting, personalization, production, and program operations to increase speed, scale, and consistency, applies instructional design judgment to improve effectiveness, and analyzes performance signals to recommend improvements in timing, sequencing, modality, and content clarity. This role partners cross-functionally with Marketing, GTM, Customer Success, Product, and Knowledge Governance to ensure education is accurate, aligned to product releases and customer journey needs, and contributes to measurable adoption, retention, lead generation, and paid-program outcomes.

You will:

  • Design and deliver premium and paid HR education experiences end-to-end across modalities (certification programs, cohorts, webinars, workshops, learning labs, LMS courses, microlearning), including audience and learning-needs analysis, learning objectives, session plans, exercises, assessments, job aids, and facilitator materials.
  • Develop education across HR practice areas — including compliance, performance management, and related people topics — as well as AI fluency and AI workforce strategy, going deep enough to teach credibly with SME support.
  • Partner with internal and external subject-matter experts to turn expert knowledge and research into structured, practical curricula without needing to be the deepest expert in every topic.
  • Create scripts, slides, videos, and short-form learning assets using AI-assisted research, drafting, and editing while maintaining accuracy, accessibility, and clarity; prototype content independently before handing it to the broader production team.
  • Build clear calls to action into education experiences that generate qualified leads and support pipeline and paid-program growth, in partnership with Marketing and GTM.
  • Facilitate and co-facilitate live customer sessions and adapt delivery in real time based on customer questions, context, and learner needs.
  • Define success measures for owned sessions/assets and monitor performance signals (webinar metrics, LMS analytics, and in-product signals where available), including enrollment, completion, certification, and lead-conversion signals where available.
  • Partner with Journey Operations to recommend improvements to education timing and sequencing based on customer behavior signals and learning performance insights.
  • Manage multiple moderate-complexity projects and content updates, including stakeholder review cycles, versioning, and release readiness updates, and maintain quality, consistency, and accuracy as paid programs scale.
  • Partner with Product, Product Marketing, Support, and Knowledge Governance to ensure content accuracy, consistency, and alignment to standards.
  • Identify content gaps and propose improvements to increase self-service effectiveness, strengthen the value customers receive from paid and premium programs, and reduce repetitive support needs.

What You Need to Get the Job Done

  • 2+ years of experience in customer education, enablement, training, instructional design, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience), including experience building or delivering education customers pay for — premium content, paid programs, cohort learning, certification, or professional services.
  • Strong facilitation and co-facilitation skills and communication skills with the ability to adapt during live customer sessions.
  • Solid instructional design and adult learning foundations; ability to simplify complex workflows and product concepts and to turn SME knowledge and research into practical learning.
  • Working knowledge of HR practice areas such as compliance and performance management, with the ability to build depth quickly by leaning on subject-matter experts.
  • Applied AI fluency: uses AI to accelerate research, design, production, program operations, demonstrations, and learner support, with strong judgment for evaluating and correcting AI outputs; familiarity with AI workforce strategy topics.
  • Strong collaboration and project execution skills across multiple stakeholders; ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines, including work with Marketing, GTM, and Customer Success partners.

What Will Make Us REALLY Love You

  • Experience with LMS/course building, webinar platforms, microlearning, and in-product education tools.
  • Familiarity with product analytics (e.g., Pendo) and using customer behavior signals to inform education recommendations.
  • Experience partnering with Knowledge Governance on content standards, reuse models, and versioning.
  • Experience contributing to certification or credentialing programs.
  • Experience in HR, HR technology, people consulting, talent development, or workforce transformation.
  • Exposure to responsible AI practices, organizational AI adoption, or change management.
  • Experience in SaaS or another fast-moving, customer-facing technology environment.

AI at BambooHR: At BambooHR, we believe in leveraging cutting-edge technology to empower people and transform HR. We’re actively integrating AI into our solutions and workflows to enhance efficiency and drive innovation. To that end, we’re looking to our existing team members and future hires to share this forward-thinking mindset: individuals who are curious about AI’s potential, eager to learn and adapt, and ready to explore how intelligent tools can elevate their work along with BambooHR’s impact on setting people free to do great work. Join us in reimagining the future of HR!

Essential Job Duties

The Sr. Digital Customer Education Specialist defines and owns BambooHR’s market-facing premium and paid HR education programs — including certifications, cohorts, and workshops — and serves as a standards-setter for instructional design and facilitation excellence across the Digital Customer Education team. This role shapes the topic roadmap and SME strategy across HR practice areas such as compliance and performance management, as well as AI fluency and AI workforce strategy, and owns outcomes across the full program lifecycle — discovery, design, delivery, measurement, and iteration. It architects complex, behavior-changing learning experiences that build durable customer capability, reduce friction, accelerate time-to-value, and improve adoption and self-service outcomes. The Sr. Specialist facilitates advanced customer-facing sessions (certification cohorts, webinars, learning labs, workshops) with expert-level presence and real-time adaptation, consulting and coaching senior HR practitioners in their own context, while mentoring teammates in facilitation craft, narrative clarity, and AI-enabled workflows. Working cross-functionally with Marketing, GTM, Customer Success, Product, and CX leadership, this role uses systems thinking and learning analytics to identify where education can create measurable customer value and influence commercial outcomes — lead generation, paid-program monetization, adoption, retention, and expansion — and shapes the education strategy and standards for these programs within the broader education roadmap.

You will:

  • Define and own the premium and paid HR education portfolio end-to-end, from customer discovery and scope recommendation through delivery, measurement, and iteration.
  • Shape the topic roadmap and SME strategy across HR practice areas and AI capability, including which topics warrant paid programs, certification, or premium content.
  • Lead major education programs and flagship learning experiences with measurable outcomes tied to customer value, adoption, self-service, and customer success, and to the commercial outcomes the programs are intended to create.
  • Define the learning approach for assigned complex topic areas, product areas, or journey stages, including goals, program and certification architecture, sequencing recommendations, and measurement plans.
  • Lead cross-functional delivery for flagship programs (scope, dependencies, stakeholder alignment, launch readiness, and post-launch iteration).
  • Design the call-to-action and conversion approach for education experiences with Marketing and GTM, and proactively surface opportunities where education can generate leads or create new and expanded revenue.
  • Create reusable templates, playbooks, and best practices that raise quality and consistency across the team, and hold quality, consistency, and accuracy as paid programs scale.
  • Mentor Specialist I/II team members through feedback, reviews, co-facilitation, and coaching.
  • Design multi-layered learning experiences that drive behavior change and adoption through practice, reinforcement, and learner-centered progression.
  • Build and direct the SME model — recruiting, briefing, and leveraging internal and external experts — and translate expert knowledge, research, and HR domain expertise into structured, scalable curricula: objectives, session plans, exercises, assessments, job aids, facilitator guides, digital courses, and video.
  • Host and facilitate complex customer sessions with advanced instructional presence, clarity, empathy, and real-time adaptation, consulting and coaching senior practitioners live.
  • Ensure learning aligns to customer goals, product expectations, and journey context; adjust delivery based on questions and sentiment.
  • Use AI to redesign how programs are researched, designed, produced, delivered, and operated, and build reusable workflows and prompt libraries that improve quality and velocity across the team.
  • Lead AI experimentation for segmentation, personalization, and optimization for owned programs.
  • Evaluate emerging AI tools and recommend integration opportunities that improve effectiveness and measurable outcomes, and set standards for accurate, responsible use.
  • Use analytics and experimentation to improve timing, modality, content clarity, and learning effectiveness through iterative testing.
  • Partner with Journey Operations to recommend signal-based education interventions and education-led solutions to adoption blockers.
  • Translate customer learning insights into actionable recommendations for Product, Product Marketing, and Digital Service experiences.
  • Represent education in strategic conversations with Marketing, GTM, Product, Product Marketing, Support, and CX leadership; influence decisions through insight, data, and narrative clarity.
  • Align stakeholders on learning goals, constraints, and success measures for owned programs; communicate risks and tradeoffs clearly.

What You Need to Get the Job Done

  • 5+ years of experience in customer education, enablement, instructional design, or digital learning (or equivalent practical experience), including material ownership of revenue-generating education — premium content, paid programs, certification, cohort learning, or professional services — from discovery through delivery and measurement.
  • Expert-level facilitation skills with real-time adaptation and strong customer-facing presence, including consulting and coaching credibility with senior HR practitioners.
  • Advanced instructional design and adult learning expertise with a track record of behavior-change outcomes and of turning SME knowledge and research into scalable curricula.
  • Depth or demonstrated ability to build depth in HR practice areas such as compliance and performance management, plus fluency in AI capability and AI workforce strategy topics.
  • High applied AI fluency with a demonstrated ability to redesign programs, workflows, and delivery models using AI — not only to accelerate production — and to evaluate AI outputs for accuracy and fit.
  • Commercial and GTM partnership: understands customer expectations, scope, positioning, and how education generates leads and creates measurable business value.
  • Strong systems thinking, synthesis, and narrative clarity; ability to influence cross-functional, Marketing, and GTM leaders.
  • Demonstrated ability to mentor others through feedback, coaching, and standards-setting.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience required.

What Will Make Us REALLY Love You

  • Experience designing lifecycle-triggered learning and in-product education experiences.
  • Experience with learning analytics, experimentation frameworks, and connecting education outcomes to adoption metrics.
  • Experience creating reusable playbooks/standards that scale quality across a team.
  • Experience designing or owning certification or credentialing programs.
  • Experience in HR, HR technology, people consulting, talent development, or workforce transformation.
  • Experience with responsible AI, organizational AI adoption, change management, or AI governance.

Leads global sales enablement programs, onboarding, learning experiences, measurement, and capability development for sellers and managers.

Exec Remote Posted 4 days ago RemoteFirstJobs Product
What this role involves

Reports to: VP, Sales Enablement

About Axiom

Axiom, a leading global marketplace for on-demand legal talent, is leading a revolution in the legal industry. The Axiom model disrupts the traditional allocation of work to law firms and in-house teams. By matching highly credentialed lawyers and legal talent with legal work across industries and practice areas, Axiom enables clients to become more agile and efficient and empowers lawyers and legal talent to pursue more of the work they love. Axiom serves over half the Fortune 100 with market leading NPS ratings from both its clients and employees.

Role Summary

The Senior Director, Global Enablement Programs is a senior leader responsible for the development, execution, measurement, and continuous improvement of Axiom’s foundational global enablement programs.

This role translates Enablement strategy into high-quality, scalable programs that improve seller and manager capability and drive measurable commercial outcomes. The Senior Director brings strong program architecture, operating discipline, analytical rigor, and cross-functional leadership to ensure Enablement programs are not simply delivered, but adopted, measured, and continuously improved.

As Axiom evolves its Enablement function, this leader will also help establish the operating practices, quality standards, measurement discipline, and processes required to build a high-performing global Enablement organization.

Key Responsibilities

Global Enablement Programs

  • Lead the development and execution of foundational, role-agnostic Global Enablement Programs aligned to Axiom’s commercial priorities.

  • Translate Enablement strategy into sequenced programs, learning experiences, reinforcement, and field execution.

  • Establish clear learning and behavioral objectives for programs and ensure deliverables are designed against those objectives.

  • Create greater rigor and consistency in how Enablement programs are developed, launched, reinforced, measured, and improved.

  • Partner with Enablement team members and subject-matter experts to ensure programs meet appropriate quality standards and are grounded in sound adult-learning principles.

  • Inspect program effectiveness and identify opportunities to simplify, strengthen, or evolve existing approaches.

New-Hire Onboarding & Ramp

  • Own the strategy and execution of Axiom’s commercial new-hire onboarding program, with a focus on accelerating readiness, productivity, and ramp.

  • Establish a clear learning journey from onboarding through zero-to-first-close, including curriculum sequencing, readiness milestones, practice, reinforcement, and manager involvement.

  • Define and track meaningful ramp and productivity milestones rather than relying solely on training completion.

  • Continuously evaluate onboarding effectiveness using quantitative and qualitative data and evolve the program based on results.

  • Partner closely with sales leaders, frontline managers, subject-matter experts, and cross-functional partners to ensure new hires can translate learning into field performance.

Seller & Manager Capability

  • Develop and execute scalable programs that strengthen foundational seller and manager capabilities across the commercial organization.

  • Support the evolution and adoption of Axiom’s core sales methods, skills, playbooks, and ways of working.

  • Build manager reinforcement and coaching into Enablement programs so frontline managers can drive adoption and sustained behavior change.

  • Partner with specialized resources and other Enablement team members on manager-effectiveness initiatives as appropriate.

  • Ensure programs connect learning to real commercial situations, practice, application, and measurable behavior change.

Measurement, Analytics & Insights

  • Establish KPIs, baselines, and success measures for major Enablement programs from the outset.

  • Regularly review commercial performance data, Enablement data, dashboards, field feedback, and other signals to assess effectiveness and identify performance gaps.

  • Partner closely with RevOps, GTM Transformation, Sales leadership, and other stakeholders to understand business performance and connect Enablement activity to commercial outcomes.

  • Synthesize quantitative and qualitative information into clear hypotheses, insights, and recommendations.

  • Identify risks, opportunities, adoption issues, and execution gaps early and bring forward recommendations for action.

  • Develop clear reporting on program performance and Enablement impact for senior and executive audiences.

  • Build a culture of measurement and continuous improvement across Global Enablement Programs.

Program Quality & Operating Discipline

  • Establish clear standards for the design and execution of Enablement programs.

  • Ensure major initiatives have defined objectives, audiences, expected behaviors, reinforcement plans, ownership, and measures of success.

  • Provide a quality-control layer across Global Programs, reviewing key deliverables and learning experiences for clarity, effectiveness, and alignment to intended outcomes.

  • Create repeatable operating practices that improve prioritization, execution, visibility, and accountability across Enablement work.

  • Help surface dependencies, risks, resource requirements, and execution gaps before they affect delivery or business outcomes.

  • Build practices and processes that can scale as Axiom’s Enablement organization grows.

AI & Enablement Innovation

  • Help identify and develop practical applications of AI and emerging technology within Enablement and commercial workflows.

  • Partner with appropriate stakeholders to translate new capabilities into scalable learning, adoption, and reinforcement.

  • Encourage experimentation and innovation while ensuring new approaches are tied to meaningful business problems and measurable outcomes.

Leadership & Partnership

  • Serve as a senior operating partner to the VP, Sales Enablement, helping translate strategy into executable programs and providing data-driven recommendations on priorities, performance, and opportunities.

  • Build strong relationships with Sales SVPs, frontline managers, RevOps/GTM Transformation, Marketing, and other commercial partners.

  • Maintain close connection to the field to understand performance challenges, emerging needs, and how Enablement programs are landing in practice.

  • Navigate complex cross-functional initiatives and orchestrate work across multiple stakeholders.

  • Communicate clearly and credibly with senior and executive audiences.

  • Help build the capabilities, operating discipline, and culture of Axiom’s evolving Enablement organization.

Experience & Capabilities

  • 10+ years of progressive experience in Sales Enablement, Revenue Enablement, Learning & Development, or a related commercial function, including significant leadership experience.

  • Experience designing and leading scalable Enablement programs in a complex B2B environment.

  • Demonstrated experience building or significantly evolving new-hire onboarding and ramp programs.

  • Strong analytical orientation with experience defining KPIs, interpreting performance data, and using insights to improve programs and influence business decisions.

  • Strong understanding of adult learning, behavior change, facilitation, reinforcement, and manager-led coaching.

  • Demonstrated ability to translate business strategy and performance needs into practical Enablement programs.

  • Strong cross-functional leadership and stakeholder-management skills, including experience working with senior sales and business leaders.

  • Ability to operate effectively in a fast-moving environment, bring structure to ambiguity, and move from strategy to execution.

  • Strong written, verbal, and executive communication skills.

  • Builder mindset with the ability to create structure, establish new operating practices, and continuously improve what already exists.

Role Scope / Partnership with the VP

The VP, Sales Enablement retains accountability for enterprise Enablement strategy, portfolio prioritization, organizational design, executive alignment and accountability, investment decisions, and final decision authority.

The Senior Director, Global Enablement Programs is a senior working and operating partner who helps shape strategy within Global Programs and owns the strategy and execution of major delegated programs. The role owns program architecture, execution discipline, quality, measurement and analytics, performance insights, and recommendations for continuous improvement.

For major areas such as new-hire onboarding, the Senior Director has meaningful strategic ownership—not simply project-management responsibility—while the VP retains ultimate accountability for the overall Enablement function and enterprise strategy.

Axiom’s total rewards philosophy is to be transparent and equitable with all job candidates. The salary range for this Director-level U.S.-based remote role is $273,000–$286,000 OTE. You can also participate in our benefits programs, which include healthcare, life and disability coverage, a 401(k) with company match, paid sick and personal time off, paid parental leave, and more. Please note that final compensation is determined by several considerations, including the quality of your experience and expertise, your ability to immediately contribute to Axiom, your potential to progress to the next level, the market in which you are located, and other business considerations.
