Data Analytics Senior Digital Analyst at Third and Grove

Leads client measurement strategy, analytics audits, tracking implementations, experimentation, attribution, and data-driven recommendations.

Senior Remote Posted 1 day ago RemoteFirstJobs Product
What this role involves

This position is fully remote. All applicants must live and work in the United States.

We are TAG, a digital agency that helps top-tier brands create beautiful digital experiences that drive performance. We’re looking for a Senior Digital Analyst to help lead our growing analytics practice. This role is for someone who is equal parts technical expert and trusted advisor: comfortable in GA4, GTM, BigQuery, and Shopify, and just as comfortable telling a CMO what the data means and what to do next.

You are curious, decisive, and data-driven. You define what clients should measure and why, diagnose implementation issues, and turn findings into clear, prioritized recommendations. You keep up with where measurement is heading, from server-side tagging and attribution to privacy legislation and AI, and you want to help shape how our analytics offering grows.

What You’ll Do

  • Lead measurement strategy for clients: define KPIs, measurement plans, and how data should inform business decisions.
  • Lead analytics audits of tracking implementations (GA4, GTM, server-side tagging, Shopify Customer Events, Amplitude, Triple Whale, etc.) and identify gaps in data accuracy, visibility, and compliance.
  • Own implementation specifications, QA, and post-launch monitoring, including data layer design, event modeling, UTM taxonomy, BigQuery integration, and proactive alerting.
  • Lead client calls and present findings with a clear point of view: what we found, what we recommend, why it matters, and who owns the next step.
  • Shape CRO and experimentation strategy using analytics, heatmapping, and behavioral data.
  • Advise on attribution and multi-touch journeys, including reconciling platform-reported revenue across channels.
  • Provide a strategic POV on consent and privacy compliance, partnering with developers and client legal teams (OneTrust, cookie banners, data retention, state privacy laws).
  • Partner with development, design, media, and client services teams, and make ownership clear across TAG, clients, and media partners.
  • Partner on large-scale migrations and redesigns, ensuring tracking continuity and analytics parity post-launch.
  • Help build the practice: standardize deliverables and processes, refine our tool stack, use AI to accelerate delivery, and support sales with scoping and pitches.

You Might Be a Great Fit If You…

  • Have 7+ years of experience in analytics, measurement strategy, or digital strategy, ideally within an agency or consulting environment.
  • Are fluent in GA4, Tag Manager (client and server side), and BigQuery, with ecommerce analytics experience.
  • Lead with the answer: you can explain a complex issue in plain language and make a clear recommendation.
  • Are confident leading client and prospect conversations, asking smart questions, and guiding decisions.
  • Understand consent management platforms and privacy frameworks (GDPR, CCPA, CPRA, and emerging state laws) in practical detail.
  • Have a POV on attribution, off-site customer journeys, and how AI is changing search and shopping behavior.
  • Like building repeatable processes and documentation that make a team better.
  • Are energized by a small, fast-moving team and a mix of B2B and DTC clients across industries.
  • You’ve worked in Shopify or Drupal, including headless builds.
  • Bonus: You’ve mentored analysts or helped build an analytics service offering.
  • Bonus: You’ve developed process to integrate AI into your workflow.

Why TAG?

We’re a collaborative, nimble team that believes in the power of design, development, and data to build better digital experiences. We care deeply about the work we do, the clients we support, and the people we work alongside. At TAG, you’ll have the opportunity to grow your skills in analytics, marketing, and strategy while helping shape how we evolve our offerings.

Benefits and Perks

  • 100% employer paid health, vision and dental insurance
  • Life and short-term disability insurance
  • Paid parental leave
  • Family First PTO Bank
  • 100% remote
  • Flex Fridays
  • Paid vacation
  • 401(k) with up to 4% match
  • Charitable matches and/or community service hours
  • End of year merit-based bonuses
  • Annual company retreat with absolutely no trust falls
  • Company culture events such as trivia and team lunches
  • Professional development budget

Data Analytics Data Scientist at Northbeam

Applies causal inference, experimentation, predictive modeling, and machine learning to solve customer marketing measurement problems and explain results.

Mid Remote Posted 1 day ago RemoteFirstJobs Product
What this role involves

About Northbeam

Northbeam is building the world’s most advanced marketing intelligence platform, providing top eCommerce brands a unified view of their business data through powerful attribution modeling and customizable dashboards. Our technology helps customers accurately track ad spend, understand the full customer journey, and drive profitable growth. Machine learning has been at the heart of Northbeam since day one: our full suite of measurement, spanning multi-touch attribution, MMM+, and incrementality, is built on it, along with laser-accurate first-party data. Now we’re taking that foundation further, using AI to help brands operationalize their data and turn Northbeam insights into automated decisions.

We’re experiencing rapid growth, have strong product-market fit, and are looking for the right people to help us scale. This is a rare chance to make a meaningful impact at a fast-moving, high-growth company. At Northbeam, you’ll join a team of driven, collaborative, and talented individuals who value personal growth and excellence. We’d love for you to be part of our journey.

We’re a remote-friendly company with physical offices in San Francisco and Los Angeles.

About the Role

We are seeking a Data Scientist as a foundational member of our new “Applied Measurement” team.  In this role, you will help scale Northbeam’s incrementality and measurement products directly with customers, to help customers answer some of their most important marketing measurement questions.  You’ll work at the intersection of data science, causal inference, predictive modeling, and customer problems, contributing across Northbeam’s measurement products.  This can include experimentation and incrementality products, Marketing Mix Modeling (MMM), and other predictive or machine learning products.

This is an applied Data Science role with direct exposure to real-world customer problems.  You’ll work closely with experienced Data Scientists and cross-functional partners across Media Strategy, Customer Success, Product, and Engineering.  As you develop deeper product and methodological expertise, you’ll have opportunities to contribute to new methodology, tooling, and scalable measurement capabilities.  You will also act as a trusted technical partner to clients: explaining statistical methodology, diagnosing measurement issues in their specific account, and clearly communicating experimentation results to drive actionable recommendations.

This role emphasizes customer partnership and applied communication as much as statistical methodology and production rigor.  The ideal candidate combines strong statistical foundations with a service-oriented mindset, and is comfortable moving between modeling, software development, and direct customer conversations.

Your Impact

  • Partner with customers and internal teams to understand important marketing measurement questions and translate them into data science problems.
  • Work with real-world customer data to ensure it is reliable and appropriate for modeling and measurement.
  • Analyze model and experiment results, investigate unexpected outcomes, and identify potential data, modeling, or measurement issues.
  • Translate complex statistical and modeling results into clear insights and actionable recommendations.
  • Partner with Senior Data Scientists on more complex methodological and modeling problems. Collaborate with cross-functional peers to support clients with the practical application.
  • Identify recurring challenges and opportunities to improve our models, diagnostics, tooling, and processes.
  • Build reusable analysis and diagnostic tools that make measurement more reliable and scalable.
  • As you grow in the role, contribute to the development of new methodologies, models, and production measurement capabilities.

What You Bring

  • Bachelor’s degree (MS preferred) in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Engineering, or another highly quantitative field.
  • 2+ years of experience building and deploying data science, machine learning, or AI systems in production, ideally including direct client- or customer-facing work.
  • Strong foundation in statistics, machine learning, experimentation, and causal inference, with genuine enthusiasm for explaining these methods to non-technical audiences.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills—comfortable leading a customer conversation, explaining a modeling tradeoff to a non-technical stakeholder, and writing up findings clearly.
  • Strong coding and debugging skills, with the ability to write production-quality code and diagnose issues across the full stack, including source data, pipelines, model logic, and customer-facing outputs.
  • A service-oriented mindset: energized by direct, hands-on customer problem-solving, not only methodology for its own sake.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced startup environment and driving projects from concept to production with a high degree of autonomy.
  • Growth mindset, intellectual curiosity, and a willingness to learn new domains, customer verticals, and measurement methodologies.
  • Strong preference for candidates with a robust statistical background and prior experience in digital marketing or eCommerce analytics.

Base Salary Range

$130,000—$160,000 USD

Actual compensation may vary based on experience, skills, and location.

In addition to your base salary, we offer an equity package, comprehensive healthcare benefits (medical, dental, and vision), and a 401(k) plan. Our team enjoys a flexible PTO policy, 12 company-paid holidays, and 12 weeks of paid parental leave. We also provide a $500 work-from-home stipend to support your remote setup.

Interview Process

The interview process varies by role but typically begins with a 30-minute interview with a Northbeam recruiter, followed by a video interview with the hiring manager. Next, candidates complete a role-specific video interview followed by video or onsite interviews with several team members. The final step is a video interview with our CEO/Co-founder. The entire interview process is usually 5-7 interviews total and requires around 5-8 hours of your time.

We accept applications on an ongoing basis.

It’s an exciting time to join us: we’re creating a company with the scale, talent, and technology to help more organizations put their data to work with greater speed, confidence, and impact.

During this transition period, you may see references to both Fivetran and dbt Labs throughout our recruiting process as we integrate our teams, systems, and career sites.

About the Role

Fivetran is building data pipelines to power the modern data stack for thousands of companies.

We’re looking for a an Analyst to join our GTM Analytics team, where we turn data into the insights that shape decisions across Sales, Strategy, RevOps, Marketing, Deal Desk, and more. Most of your work will be answering business questions directly — pulling and structuring data, summarizing it clearly, and delivering a recommendation. When a request genuinely calls for a dashboard, you'll help scope the requirements and hand them off to our central data team to build.

In this role, you'll work on well-scoped, clearly framed requests — writing SQL to pull data, looking up how a metric is already built in Looker or Omni when one exists, using Claude to refine and debug your queries, and shaping the output in Excel or Google Sheets into something a stakeholder can act on. This is a developmental role: as you build experience, you'll take on progressively more ambiguous and higher-stakes requests.

This is a full-time position based out of our Costa Rica office.

Technologies You’ll Use

SQL, Excel and/or Google Sheets (pivot tables, lookups, formulas), Claude (or similar AI assistants), Salesforce (viewing/reading data) — exposure to BI tools like Looker, Omni, Sigma, or Hex is a plus

What You’ll Do

  • Write and adapt SQL queries against well-defined requests, using Claude to refine logic and troubleshoot errors
  • Look up existing metrics in Looker or Omni to understand how they're already built, and reuse that logic where it applies
  • Pull, clean, and structure data in Excel or Google Sheets to answer scoped stakeholder questions
  • Summarize findings into clear, plain-language takeaways for non-technical stakeholders
  • Validate data accuracy against source systems before sharing outputs
  • Ask clarifying questions to properly scope a request before starting work
  • Escalate requests that require deeper analytical judgment to senior team members
  • Maintain documentation of recurring requests and their underlying logic
  • Support ad hoc reporting needs across Sales, Strategy, RevOps, Marketing, Deal Desk, among others
  • Build working knowledge of dbt Labs' GTM data model (Salesforce objects, opportunity stages, fiscal calendar)

Skills We’re Looking For

  • Working knowledge of SQL (SELECT, JOIN, GROUP BY, basic aggregate functions)
  • Comfortable using AI tools like Claude to write, debug, or refine queries and analysis
  • Advanced Excel and/or Google Sheets skills (pivot tables, lookups, formulas)
  • Clear written and verbal communication skills in English
  • Basic understanding of SaaS sales concepts (opportunity stages, pipeline)
  • Strong attention to detail and a habit of checking your own work
  • Comfortable asking questions rather than guessing at ambiguous requests
  • Comfortable navigating existing Looker or Omni dashboards to trace how a metric is defined and built

Bonus Skills

  • Experience building in BI or exploratory-analysis tools like Looker, Omni, Sigma, or Hex (not required — happy to teach this on the job)
  • Familiarity with Salesforce
  • Prior internship or role in analytics, RevOps, or FP&A
  • Basic Python
